Turbine does know that players are very disappointed and Sapience has come to the forums today to let us know of compensation they are planning for premium and VIP players to the game.

The $99.99 for one-year of VIP subscription deal is back. This is something we’ve seen a few times and always for a limited time. There is no listed date as to when this special ends.

The $99.99 annual VIP membership subscription offering was introduced this year in June and Turbine has now announced the end date of this offer.

Turbine announced today a new way to take part in the $99.99 one year subscription to VIP by offering a game time card.

Announced today is a 12-month VIP membership offer for $99.99. That is approximately $8.33 per month for all that VIP goodness.

We got an email today from Giggles of Windfola sharing a forum post that has been going on since late March about issues with buying VIP subscriptions. This appears to be related to non-US players attempting to purchase a VIP subscription or buying Turbine Points.
