Casual Stroll to Mordor

This dungeon run was recorded on June 15, 2011. Our dungeon runners today were Kiarane (hunter), Goldenstar (minstrel) and the camera is being run by Merric (guardian).

With the release of the new raid armor sets and a few new heavy armor drops I decided to update my Champion Armor Spreadsheet.

Now that I have had a few weeks to digest the new content from Update 2, I feel comfortable in voicing my opinions on this update. I believe this is one of the better releases for LOTRO in quite some time.

Codemasters will be getting the latest patch for Echoes of the Dead tomorrow, Thursday. Servers will go down at 08.00 and be back up at 15.00 hours, UK time (BST).

The release notes for Update 2, Patch 1 have been released! This patch is primary to fix some of the bugs that cropped up after launch of Echoes of the Dead.

Who said Update 2 was all about epic quests, new instances and character panel? Oh no, update 2 my friend, is also (a tiny bit) about furniture. Here are our latest finds!

Released today are brand new screenshots from Echoes of the Dead. These screenshots depict Ost Dunhoth, the new 12-man raid.

Anyway, the point is, Turbine, if you want us to play your game, you have to let us… play the game. Make the instance rewards proportional to the time, make them fairly short (20-30 minutes for three mans), and make them all fun.

Installation of Echoes of the Dead has been completed on Codemasters servers. All worlds are now online and ready for use!

Codemasters has been able to test the hotfix launched by Turbine yesterday and have announced that Echoes of the Dead will launch on their system tomorrow!

Released today is some more official screenshots from Turbine. These new screenshots depict the continuation of the Epic Story, as well as the new Glacial Fortress instance.

Patching the live servers with Update 2 has completed an Echoes of the Dead is now live and available on all servers!

Codemasters has finished QA on the Echoes of the Dead content and it is cleared to launch tomorrow, March 22nd, 2011. Downtime is listed to last from 8am to 3pm GMT.

Today’s downtime to launch the latest free content update, Update 2: Echoes of the Dead, has been extended until 11:30 AM Eastern (-4 GMT).

The LOTRO Game Servers will be brought down on Monday, March 21, 2011 from 6:00AM- 10:00AM Eastern (-4 GMT) to launch the latest content update, Update 2: Echoes of the Dead.
