Turbine has published a store update for Update 11 listing the changes to the LOTRO Store.

The Official Release Notes for Update 11 have been released today and they are huge

The LOTRO Game Servers will be brought down on Monday, May 13, 2013 for the release of Update 11: Treachery of the White Hand. Maintenance will begin at 7:00AM Eastern US time.

Turbine released a Developer Diary today focused on the upcoming changes that Mounted Combat will be undergoing in Update 11.

Turbine has sent out a press release announcing the launch of Update 11 on May 13th. Update 11 is entitled “Treachery of the White Hand”.

The new store exclusive steed for the month of May is Obsidian Steed. This steed appeared in the store starting on May 1st and will be available in the LOTRO Store through May 31st.

We were all saddened by the story of the bombing attacks on the Boston Marathon earlier this month. Turbine, who produces LOTRO for us, is actually located in the Boston area and so this is something that happened in their back yard.

Sapience mentioned last weekend that the festival will be extended. Today logging in I saw the loading screen showing the actual date.

The LOTRO Game Servers will be brought down on Monday, April 29th from 7:00 – 10:00 AM Eastern (-4 GMT) for an update to the game.

The LOTRO Game Servers and http://myaccount.turbine.com will be offline for maintenance on Saturday, April 27th from 5:00 to 7:00 Eastern (-4 GMT).

Last month LOTRO announced the details an open applications for the first player council. The council is to act as direct player feedback and comments on game ideas to Turbine for one calendar year.
