Way at the start of The Fellowship’s Walk: A Child’s Play Event we announced a contest giving away some goodies from The Guild that ran through the entire fundraising event.

The Fellowship’s Walk has finally come to an end, successfully raising $5,000 for Child’s Play. Thank you!

This week, the Fellowship walked from the Forsaken Inn to Weathertop in the Lone Lands, our $3,000 marker!

This week was a pretty busy one for the Fellowship, as we went from the Barrow Downs to Bree, spent a couple of nights at the Prancing Pony, had a wonderful party at Peirson’s Farm on Saturday and finally ending up at the Forsaken Inn in the Lone Lands.

This lovely handmade rug was donated to us by Suzie Owen in support of the Fellowship’s Walk! It is is made out of t-shirts and really reminds us of something you would find in a typical Hobbit home!

What a nice party we had yesterday! Over a hundred people joined the festivities and had the chance to listen to The Lonely Mountain Band, the Green Hill Music Society, the Hobbiton Philarmonic and Galenswerd Swordsong, all performing for the benefit of the children of Middle-Earth. Moreover, we got out of Bree!

This week the Fellowship made it to the Barrow Downs and is now looking to get past Bree in the days to come!

Of course, when we talked about kids and CSTM, I just had to make a cake. This one is pretty different from the two first I previously created ( Keg Cake and Baby Hobbit Hole) because instead of impersonating an object, it’s definitely more of a traditional cake.
