Casual Stroll to Mordor

Today (May 6th) is the final day of the Anniversary Festival! Make sure you turn in all your tokens and buy up all the goodies you were hoping for!

We were all saddened by the story of the bombing attacks on the Boston Marathon earlier this month. Turbine, who produces LOTRO for us, is actually located in the Boston area and so this is something that happened in their back yard.

Ketani was awesome enough to go get screenshots and prices of the new anniversary items. I will add these to the Anniversary Festival Guide later tonight but I thought you guys might want to see them before then!

The live recording of Casual Stroll to Mordor episode 192 will be tonight (Friday, April 19) at 9:30pm Eastern rather than Saturday. Same time just a day earlier.

Just a reminder that as part of the Anniversary Festival we will be getting double experience starting today and lasting until April 21st.

LOTRO is celebrating six years! This year’s event is going on from April 16 – 30th.

April is a huge month! It’s the birthdays of LOTRO (April 24th) and of course our Baby Hobbit. It is also about the time here in Michigan that the outside starts to hint that it may not be cold and bleh forever.

Turbine’s LOTRO team is hosting their next Developer Twitter Chat.

Its that time of year again where we celebrate Bullroarer Took, defender of the Shire, defeater of goblins, and inventor of golf. Turbine is celebrating with a screenshot contest.
