Depending on your kinships style of play or member activity, a website can bring members together for various reasons. Event scheduling, forum activity, member communication, kinship rules/information, active roster and media sharing can all be possible reasons a kinship is needed.

This week while playing on my new Rune Keeper, I decided to quest in a few areas I hadn’t done in the past. Low levels in the Shire and some quests in the odd quest off near Thorin’s hall helped to break up the scenery nicely

In Part I, we looked at each mob, the way the mobs enter the “Arena” and finally the way the mobs behave. One thing that was left out purposefully is the Corruption Removal Techniques that help you defeat bosses. Many people commented that this was extremely important, and I can’t agree more. So have no fear, I haven’t forgotten to include that in this guide.

This is the first of many LOTRO related videos being posted by a small 3 man project known as The Arda Show. The original video surfaced on the 5th of May on GameSharkVideo’s youtube channel and was titled “Interview with LOTRO”. I don’t think they knew what that had on their hands or this would have surfaced a little faster!

I have seen game mechanics and game features/system that have changed the way we play MMOs today. Features like the modern day Aggro Mechanic all the way up to LOTRO’s Cosmetic system. These unique ideas and features in games often become well known find themselves into other games in one form or another. This is how game development works and is a healthy part of how progress is made.

Standing in line with close to 100 other press and media members at PAX East was an interesting feeling. Even more interesting to me after the fact is that with almost 200 booths and millions of dollars in advertising and PR display setups the only thing on my mind was the half a second glimpse I had of the booth as I peaked in the night before.

Today while browsing the world wide interwebs I found myself watching a video of a Russian LOTRO Server. The video was titled “LOTRO, Creeps in Forochel” and can be viewed on theLOTRONetwork.com or on YouTube. The video titled immediately threw up a flag for me. Lets go over a little back story here. Forochel is the region just north of Evendim.
