Thanks to LOTRO’s twitter and facebook account we know that that Update 10 will be loaded to the live servers tomorrow. Patch notes are typically released during the downtime so we’ll see those tomorrow.

At this time, I don’t know what the actual downtime will be. I will update this post when we have more information as to when the downtime will happen.

Wow…it’s good, but everyone I’ve talked to said Bullroarer is still a mess. Anyone here tried it that can tellme otherwise?

Furthermore, the vast majority of the “mess” refers to the Fate changes. Which are controversial, to say the least, but that’s different from being a mess due to gamebreaking bugs.

Well they explained that they only just got authorisation, and they literally couldn’t let us know any sooner. It was a choice between having it today with short notice or delaying the release simply to give people more notice.
I think they made the right choice.

The lack of time between announcement and the downtime does strike me as mildly rushed, in a kind of glacial fashion.
The instances were originally meant to have been out with RoR so why the fuss over an extra weeks worth of warning, people have waited this long so an extra week is hardly going to kill them.
My biggest concern is with the fate changes as they seem to want to make it a bigger stat again and yet have reduced it from buffs. Jury is currently out but from anecdotal evidence it’s not going to be pleasant.
