Each week we ask you to share your successes in Middle Earth with the rest of the community. Post a comment letting us know what you’ve accomplished this past week. We will pick comments at random to read on the podcast giving you a chance for a little shout out for yourself! Our shout-outs are only as good as the information we get so remember:
- Don’t forget to add your character name, what server you play on and, if you like, add your Kinship if you have one.
- Please keep your posts brief. We won’t be able to read full novels of your adventures. At least make it so we can easily sum it up!
- Do not be afraid to post any of your achievements. We don’t care if you just saved Archet or finished up Hytbold. We want to hear from you!
These shout outs will appear in tomorrow tonight’s recording of A Casual Stroll to Mordor Podcast. You are welcome to join us live at 9:30pm Eastern! First time joining us live? See our post on how to join CSTM’s live broadcast. Comments for this thread will be closed after recording as this is a weekly thing. If you missed this week’s cut off, don’t fret! A new thread just like this one will appear next Friday.

A bear killed me because of lag.

Heya! This is Cyraith, Officer in The Guild from Riddermark server.
Been an eventful past week. I got my cappy to 77, and ran him through Draigoch successfully.
I’ve also ran School at Tham Mirdan a couple dozen times for seals, as well as completed Battle For Erabor three times. Of course my (lack of) luck would have it that the Random Number Generator hates me, and I did not get much by way of loot.
Finally, I have taken my mini from L35 to L44 through crafting, and plan to keep going!

Strunto Bobbin of Elendilmir.
Much like Cyraith in the post above, I completed multiple runs of the Battle for Erebor and a few Annuminas runs, and managed to win absolutely nothing but relics and bounties.
Sad Hobbit.

Alexahil Champion of Eriador, Champion of Nimrodel – Level 85 (Shirriffs of Nimrodel. We are currently in discussion about a new name (And kinship.)). In the last week: Ran through a level 65 Stoneheight solo for the Lulz. Meanwhile discussing with a kinmate my disappointment with the Instance Finder and how no one ever seems to use it to get a group (And how I think remote looting is one of the first steps towards a cross-server Instance Finder…) I uh… got into a group with it. T1 Warg Pens with a Guardian and a Hunter. Despite the lack of a healer we won! The Guardian had to drop after that and the Hunter and I duoed an 85 School. No challenge mode.
Durnric of Rohan, Captain of Nimrodel – Level 40. Starting at level 33, Durnric finished off Book 3 of Volume I and then went off to Evendim (Because that’s what you do when you hit 30. No other place worth levelling in…) After helping hapless hobbits in Oatbarton and Dwaling, he continued on towards Tinnundir and eventually made it to level 40. Now he is on hiatus as Deasmuain (Yeah, say that out loud…) is taking over to level from 40 to 50.
I actually did stuff! Yay!

I agree with frustration of nobody using instance finder. I think it is a fantastic tool. If only everyone looking for a fellowship actually used it.

Happy Friday to all the Friends of Middle Earth! I have 6 at 85 in Pathfinders on Elendilmr, and now, thanks to Hitlong, I have 4 with second age weapons! My mini Winney was gifted with the Tarnished Symbol of Celebrior from Hitlong, so my Scholar LM Gandast craft it for her, and she’s off and running! Yeah.
There were first age symbols dropping in Flight to the Lonely Mt, which was shut down almost immediately – but we’re all hoping it will open up again so more people have a chance to get the elusive drop.
Goldenstar – did you try tier 2 Dungeons yet? That can be a lot of fun, too, if done correctly.
Meanwhile on Landroval, all my alts are at least 30, except my Captain who is a bubble away, and Elryyk my Warden is 65. Whoot! Thanks to Cynnabon of Northern Lights, he has a fabulous second age weapon that has several tier 5 legacies on it. Thank you, Cynnabon!
Happy adventuring to all.

This week I got my main champ, Krys, to level 77. I also bought Angmar with my hard earned f2p TP while it was on sale to level my 42 Warden, Grabo, through. I plan on getting the Rohan expansion next week and finally hitting the level cap on Krys after 3 years of on and off casual play!

It’s been a quiet week on Landroval, my home server, out on the edge of the wilds.
Captain Siqua (See-quaah) and Loremaster Pandothrien (Cloak and Dagger kinship) had a busy week in Mirkwood where they completed Volume 2, Book 9 of the Epic Story. We also finished all of the Volume 2 Epilogues except Sammath Gul which remains as a loose end that need attention. I don’t think we can duo that one.
Henceforth the solo-only quest, “Death from Below” shall be know as “That quest that was designed for captains.” Tank and heal NPCs at the same time? Yeah I can do that.
As a side-effect of wrapping up questing in Mirkwood, I also attained the status of “Kindred” with the Malledhrim this week. This in turn awarded me the title of “Ambassador to the Elves” as the Malledhrim were the third elvish faction from which I have received that accolade (The elves like me so much, that they gave me a pretty new horsie!).

This week I returned from Hawaii, threw two hundred dollars at Turbine and maxed out every single possible option on my Minstrel’s LIs. Then I juggled around the Settings, Gems, Runes and Emblems to take advantage of the new Fate changes.
Then it was time for a home-made Mai Tai. It wasn’t the same.

Aegraes (pronounced A-E-grays) of the friend of thorganby from Laurelin
this week I listened to my first live CSTM after staying up to 2:30 am to hear it but can’t listen to this weeks as I being the photographer at my cusons engagement party :_(. Anyway I logged on to my RK this week to see that his power had jumped to over 4000. I managed to get to level 58 and kindred with the iron garrison guard so MORE LIGHTNING DAMAGE wooo I also sent off the stuff the craft of my kinship need to make my level 60 second age’s.
I say the craft as the kin I am in is just me and some of my friends and one of them now owns a Eastemnet Master with full crafting guild rep of EVERY Professions he now makes over 10 gold a day by selling dyes in the AH he also records every AH sells he has ever had and how much they sold for or if they did not sell but not in a spreadsheet but in a little red book next to his pc he also make note of everything he make for us
what ever floats you boat I guess
have fun out there

Astarwen, loremaster of Gladden, aided her Mirkwood cousins with the defense of Thangulad and preparations for the assault on the Ringwraith’s lair. She and her lynx, Mrowr, have been busy.
Lilyrose, minstrel of Gladden, enjoyed downing Battle for Erebor, not once, but twice, with a group made up almost entirely of her wonderful kinnies, Rangers of the West!
March 16, 2013 at 12:29 pm
and on Saturday, Riddling Rangers team came in second place in the Second Gladden Shire Riddle Race-and won a prize as the most fashionably dressed team. (I attibute it to our dwarf in the blindingly flashy anniversary robe…)

Finally got around to crafting a Wyrmscale Cloak, only using for cosmetic but love it!
