Yesterday some of the Turbine team took some time out of their busy day to answer some questions via Twitter. Amongst those answering questions were:
- Matt “Hoarsedev” Zimmitti – Lead Systems Designer
- Trevor “Jinjaah” McEwen — PvMP stuff and class revamp work
- Jared “Kelsan” Pruett – Class revamp work and core systems
- Joe “jwbarry” Barry – Instances & Raids
- Rick “Sapience” Heaton – LOTRO Community Manager
They answered a variety of questions from the community including:
- Why power and fate are being revamped in Update 10.
- When we’ll have more details on the Player Council.
- If there will ever be a revamp for Fellowship Maneuvers.
- If we will have a train panel setup up similar to that of mounted combat.
- When we will see more lotteries.
- When Update 10 is planned for release.
Needless to say there was a lot of good information within the chat and we appreciate everyone who took time to submit and answer the questions.

Someone did ask about when update 10 might be released, but that part of the question was shrugged off soundly.

Yeah, that seemed like a pretty fair answer to me.

Interesting as they seem to really consider both questions on a new Creep class…very interesting

Always find it interesting that there’s a questing in the last two dev chats about hunter survivability. I think they did a really nice improvement to agile rejoinder heal and swift stroke defense buff over the last few years.
“can we please please have a trait panel setup that lets us save trait loadouts and name them like for MC?” “Hoarsedev – Yes.” They talking about our class trait panel? If so, that would be awesome! Be nice if they would give us at least two free one’s like our warsteeds.
Kinda funny about the “veggie friendly feast table” comment. Catch the person’s name?
And Loremasters will get a new attack squirrel? Awesome!!
Just kidding

I’m not so happy about the idea of replacing our trait lines with trait trees. We’ll have to wait to see what they will really look like, though.
