Player Achievements

Each week we ask you to share your successes in Middle Earth with the rest of the community. Post a comment letting us know what you’ve accomplished this past week.

We will pick comments at random to read on the podcast giving you a chance for a little shout out for yourself! Our shout-outs are only as good as the information we get so remember:

  • Don’t forget to add your character name, what server you play on and, if you like, add your Kinship if you have one.
  • Please keep your posts brief. We won’t be able to read full novels of your adventures. At least make it so we can easily sum it up!
  • Do not be afraid to post any of your achievements. We don’t care if you just saved Archet or cleared out the Tower of Orthanc. We want to hear from you!

These shout outs will appear in tomorrow tonight’s recording of A Casual Stroll to Mordor Podcast. You are welcome to join us live at 9:30pm Eastern! First time joining us live? See our post on how to join CSTM’s live broadcast.

Comments for this thread will be closed after recording as this is a weekly thing. If you missed this week’s cut off, don’t fret! A new thread just like this one will appear next Friday.

Last weekend during Lootbox weekend I joined my fellow Creeps on Eldar in exterminating the Hobbits in Hoarhallow. Over the cause of a few hours I got 7 lootboxes and 2 keys. Apparently Freeps care for Hobbits, because they kept coming back to rescue them. We ate them too. It was great fun.

Calilie, Hobbit Warden of Kindred Spirits on Gladden, reached level 61 while running through 16th hall instance. She also completed up to Book 10 chapter 7 in Volume 1 of the Epic Books quests. Thus she has now completed the first deed for doing books 1-8 in Volume I, and also grabbed a few deeds while running through the 16th Hall. She has also earned enough Medallions of Moria to get her THIRD blue armor piece :D

Whiteberry Greenhill of Laurelin. My greatest achievement this week was to get the Cake-eater title from waybreads on all my characters. Even my hobbits were full! It took 900 lembas :)

I recently came back to the game again and decided to start fresh with a new charater on Crickhollow. Ritla, my hobbit minstrel, is now level 26 and adventuring in the Lonelands while munching on the pie she won in the lottery. She is also enjoying her extra bag space with the 6th bag that I purchased for her during the weekly sale. Ritla has recently found a new home with the Swords of Light kin and is looking forward to many adventures with them.

I am loving the small changes that I have seen so far like open taping and being able to loot without clicking on mobs. Awesomesauce!

On Elendilmir got my Captain WittyJack Sparrow to 85! Lots of dailies and Dungeons Tier 2 for marks and medallions. Have about 16 alts now! Still trying to figure out how to get my Landroval Characters into CofSF, since they’ve approved me online, I never know how to reach anyone in game. Sigh.

Have a wonderful weeks and thanks so much for this site and the wonderful Podcast!!!

First, I got two of my friends together and we started a three man. I’m the Warden and we have a champion and a runekeeper. Together we shall fight back the forces of darkness, even the deep dark of Full Fellowship content or we’ll die trying.

Most importantly, I got a HUGE acheivement done this week. Since I had been focused solely on leveling for the last 3 weeks on my new champion, I needed to work on Weaponsmithing and Prospecting since I had ignored it completely.

I completed all of the crafting tiers from Apprentice to Westfold two sittings. Needless to say, it took a long, long time, and I spent no small number of hours riding the landscape searching for ores. But I prevailed over the grind.

I started the week at 65, and fully intend to be at least 70 by the time the podcast is recorded

Byraleth (Bye-rah-leth), Champion, Council of the Secret Fire, Landroval.

Astarwen, loremaster of Gladden, hit level 64 this week, and has consulted with the Lord and Lady of the Golden Wood regarding a dwarven request for assistance, and sung her heart out to trees for the last week.

Soon, back into the long dark of Moria. *sigh* Dwarves.

This week has been pretty awesome! I reached 85 on my second character, a Lore-master, and I just got the golden Lore-master a few minutes ago along with a shiny teal bracelet! I’m super excited! On a different note, I re-outfitted my main character, a Warden, in a new cosmetic outfit.

Éoléof, leader of the Riders of Théoden kinship on Crickhollow, returned to Rohan, got his war-steed back, and hit level 75 all in the space of a few hours on Wednesday.

Now it’s time to head back to the North to gather support from the rest of the Free Peoples for our kinship’s RP event, where we’ll ride from Bree-town to the aid of Rohan!
