CSTM RECOMMENDATION: These get a “meh” simply because you can earn these in the game grinding them via the deed system. A nice short-cut to a long grind but not a necessary purchase. If grinding is the thing that gets on your nerves then no harm in buying them at all.
Trait Slots
Customize and make your character more powerful by unlocking additional Virtue, Class, Race or Legendary Trait Slots to use with your virtues, traits, and legendary abilities.

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: First it’s important to note that this is only for free and premium players. VIPS have access to all their virtue, class, race and legendary trait slots, however they unlock at specific levels so it may not look like they are not available to a VIP at first.
These may not be an important buy at the earlier levels but those who’ve progressed a ways will want to consider buying these. They are like equipping additional stats that otherwise you’ll be missing out on. I’ll make a guess and say they may start coming in pretty handy around the level 40+ range.
Slayer Deed Accelerators
Increase the size of your quest log, earn virtues, titles, and even Turbine Points by completing deeds! Earn double-rewards for slaying Goblins, Spiders, and more for 30-60 minutes! Single & 5-stacks available.

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: These are great ways to finish up deeds quicker and reduce the grind. If you’re like me and find the idea of killing 320 wargs to earn a virtue a chore than you will definitely like these little boosters.
Skill Deed Boosts
Double your Class Skill rate and remove the daily limit for 30/60 minutes! Single and 5-stacks available!

Levels: All 50-450

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: These certainly can be nice boost especially for dratted skill ups such as rez deeds. Also can be handy for skills that don’t require you to be in combat so you can do whatever you please in game and keep smacking those skills for skill-ups during the time limit. For the most part though, you’ll able to earn these deeds as you play along and are not really needing any assistance from a boost.

Trait Slots are great but sometimes if you are alt happy like me (must have a character for each class) then you end up with like 9+ alts per server –still working up to get them all to level 20
If that is the case it would be cheaper to go VIP for a month to unlock the trait slots, gold cap, special travel locations, etc…
Just make sure you have all (or most) of your alts created before you go VIP so they all benefit from the time. I made the mistake of going VIP for a month before I had purchased all of the character slots and created all of my alts so half are unlocked and the other half are still missing traits.

Regarding the trait slots, I noticed the current lottery for the 20′s has a legendary slot unlock token in the prize pool. Odd placement in the level bands but worth entering on that offchance of a win.

Virtues at 30% off – should get a double meh. They used to be 295 per, now 395 per. So basically if you buy Virtues through the store, it costs you now an “extra” $200 to max out (based on Virtue cap of +10).
