Player Achievements of the Week

Player Achievements

Each week we ask you to share your successes in Middle Earth with the rest of the community. Post a comment letting us know what you’ve accomplished this past week.

We will pick comments at random to read on the podcast giving you a chance for a little shout out for yourself! Our shout-outs are only as good as the information we get so remember:

  • Don’t forget to add your character name, what server you play on and, if you like, add your Kinship if you have one.
  • Please keep your posts brief. We won’t be able to read full novels of your adventures. At least make it so we can easily sum it up!
  • Do not be afraid to post any of your achievements. We don’t care if you just saved Archet or cleared out the Tower of Orthanc. We want to hear from you!

These shout outs will appear in tonight’s recording of A Casual Stroll to Mordor Podcast. You are welcome to join us live at 9:30pm Eastern! First time joining us live? See our post on how to join CSTM’s live broadcast.

Comments for this thread will be closed after recording as this is a weekly thing. If you missed this week’s cut off, don’t fret! A new thread just like this one will appear next Friday.

I got my sparkly pony, also known as the Steed of Many Colours. The iridescent effect is very cool.

One of my alts, Eirburg, a level 7 burgler of may it be on Riddermark, achieved Supreme cook and farmer status – that’s a lot of running between Hobbiton and Michel Delving!

Another alt, Eirithnui (also of may it be on Riddermark), hit level 69 and crafted a tier 2 legendary bow.

Love the podcast, keep up the good work!

My main, MarcoNarc, a level 85 Hunter (Snowbourn) helped take down Warmaster Bugud and moved house from Falathlorn Homesteads to Bree-Land. My son cannot believe how I’ve got a L85 as I basically play solo having never been on a raid and not many fellowships!

Personally I joined the Lotro Community on Google+ which looks good.

Only recently discovered your podcasts and they are a great help.

Strunto Bobbin, of Into the West on Elendilmir. My wife and I got back into the game a few weeks ago, when RoR was on sale for Black Friday. Been having a blast with all of the Rohan content and trying group content we hadn’t had a chance to try before.

This week, we took down Draigoch on T2 challenge! Not much of an accomplishment, I guess, considering we were all over-leveled, but it was exciting! And I was a nervous wreck, thinking I was going to screw up the conjunctions and ruin it for everyone. Thankfully, everything went off without a hitch!

Alexahil, Level-Capped Champ. Nimrodel. Shirriffs of Cydonia. Someday Hytbold will be finished. I hope Turbine does something after the release of the instance cluster, that is not store-related, to speed up the Hytbold grind. Or, better yet, count the deed across all toons on the same account. That would be better.

Cynwyon – 68 Hunter, will likely see 69 by the time this episode airs and will have freed Galtrev from the White Hand.

Azakael – 65 Historian, Specced for Retail though… Despite working at 10 am the next day, attended the Midnight showing of the Hobbit. Eeeeee!!!

Callie, my Hobbit Warden on Gladden, has been jumping leaps and bonds and currently level 51 and sadly having to go back and farm Yew to finish Mastering that Tier level in Woodworker. (I got stuck at trying to master my Journeyman level so now playing catch up though I’m now proficient in both Expert and Artisan Tiers. I’ve also completed the Pre-Moria quest line… aka took on the Watcher! go me! I have two Legendary Items (a Javelin and Spear) though looking for a LI Sword for around my level given since listening to your podcast, especially the Warden Roundtable, has made me itch trying using a sword with my Warden :) I look forward to working through Moria with my husband’s toon and some of his friends he does raids with routinely.

Greetings. This week I did my first Chicken Run with the Northern Lights on Landroval with my warden Elryyk. If you like seeing the scenery, this is the quest for you.

I got my Captain WittyJack Sparrow up to 77, my Burg Kokoe up to 50, my group-only LoreMaster Gandast is 54, my only Dwarf Hootman Whootfelloow is now 18, I got my Elf RK Fiorwyn up to 78, and my Hunter Finulos up to 76. The others are sitting waiting for attention!

I felt bad for Goldenstar having to record last week’s podcast when she was so sick, and I’m very grateful that she did (and Merric, too). Thank you for all you do for us.

Belwynne voted every day for Harperella and advanced to level 79, Beldwyl completed her first Draigoch thanks to friend Islug on Landroval and a great FM group that didn’t miss a single conjunction, and Bellcari continued her nightly pursuit of the turtle.

Enjoying all the holiday concerts on Landroval. I love that this game is so much more than just “kill x of something”.

Now I plan to finish Sutcrofts quests, guild crafting (I hate one week recipe cooldowns!),start Hytbold grind, and top off virtue traits. I also have six R6 creeps in Ettenmoors (totally neglected since ROR). Loving mounted combat. I keep telling myself: It’s a marathon, not a spr.. not a spri.. “Doctor! he’s going into cardiac arrest! Charging paddles!” “CLEAR!”
