The LOTRO Game Servers and http://myaccount.turbine.com will be offline for maintenance on Monday, November 5th from 6:00 to 12:00 Eastern (-5 GMT). The forums and wikis will remain up, but players may not be able to log in. Thanks for your patience, and we’ll see you back in the game soon!

    Steam decided to redownload 12GB of the client after the patch. Methinks something is not right in the State of Valve or Turbine… :(

      same exact thing happened to me and one other person…
      it MAY just be that some coding was changed for the steam version, to make it more compatible with Steam though….theres quite a few issues between the Steam client and LOTRO client..they seem not to get along very well…

      It’s a Steam thing.

      Almost every different game I’ve tried to launch over the past few days has had a message come up that the content has to be converted to a new efficient format. Does a conversion then downloads “missing” stuff.

      So far it seems that the back of steams sofa has a tardis like capacity for losing things.
