Player Achievements of the Week

Player Achievements

Each week we ask you to share your successes in Middle Earth with the rest of the community. Post a comment letting us know what you’ve accomplished this past week.

We will pick comments at random to read on the podcast giving you a chance for a little shout out for yourself! Our shout-outs are only as good as the information we get so remember:

  • Don’t forget to add your character name, what server you play on and, if you like, add your Kinship if you have one.
  • Please keep your posts brief. We won’t be able to read full novels of your adventures. At least make it so we can easily sum it up!
  • Do not be afraid to post any of your achievements. We don’t care if you just saved Archet or cleared out the Tower of Orthanc. We want to hear from you!

These shout outs will appear in tonight’s recording of A Casual Stroll to Mordor Podcast. You are welcome to join us live at 9:30pm Eastern! First time joining us live? See our post on how to join CSTM’s live broadcast.

Comments for this thread will be closed after recording as this is a weekly thing. If you missed this week’s cut off, don’t fret! A new thread just like this one will appear next Friday.

Alachon, a level 26 champion on Landroval, defeated Svalfang the level 30 giant in single combat. He would like to thank the random captain who gave him a critical rating buff.

From Tuiliel of Landroval (Lonely Mountain Band):

Recently I was the lucky winner of CSTM’s Child’s Play charity auction for a personal video by the BBB of Landroval, and it is now complete! I selected a poem I wrote long ago as the basis for the production, and the brilliant Aegthil created a masterpiece with it! Aegthil composed the music and filmed the video, with Eluridan and myself as primary actors, and with much-appreciated support from LMB kinnies in crowd scenes. Aegthil perfectly captured my love of the Golden Wood, as well as my fondness for all the beautiful waters of Middle-earth.

Thanks so much CSTM, BBB, and LMB for bringing life to my little poem, and even bigger thanks for helping baby hobbits!

Wow! Congratulations. You’ve certain worked hard to get that goat. Whenever I see one in the world, I’m conscious of how much time and effort went into it. I bet you’ve got some greaet Moria armour, too. Wonderful.

Greetings. On Landroval I’ve sadly neglected my Warden Elryyk, but he’s almost done there and ready to see sunlight.

On Elendilmir my Captain Witty Jack Sparrow is 74, he’s completed the epic quest line and about to take a bed roll! Since my Hunter had so much difficulty at 75 with that last series of ‘map table’ quests.

My burg has teamed up with Audreey the LM and she’s up to 45, she’s seen Gollum, and she’s about ready to head back to scenic Angrymar.

My lvl 85 champ, Eorohir, is trying to figure out how to obtain more silver Riddermark tokens, and Hytbold is nearly complete.

And even with max vault space, I don’t have enough room! What about you?

Thank you for this wonderful site.

Anthony, level 85 Champ from Strength in Numbers on Imladris.

Between getting my 3rd character to 85 and working on gearing them up, on Tuesday the 27th of November I finally got my last Skirmish encounter to be rewarded with the title of Anthony, Skirmisher of Middle Earth, along with the ‘Bring it on’ emote.

I think I may be the first on the server to get the title.

Now, to finishing building that Hytbold town.

A pretty full week. My main, Tarorgg, completed day 41 of 44 of the Hytbold rebuild, I’ll finish that Tuesday. My minstrel, Rorggrim, hit 85. Warden Rorggit hit 80 and maxed GM Metalsmithing, and various levels down the line of alts.

Adanorod, level 85 Warden of Elendilmir (kinship: Sanctuary) recently completed the Skirmisher of Middle Earth meta deed, and I am now proudly wearing my new title and happily spamming my new emote while I wait for people to start boss encounters in instances :D I would like to thank Pineleaf for revealing this great deed to the community a while back! I also got a Tarnished Symbol of Celembrimbor and turned that into a nice DPS spear with a lot of reforging and IDing luck (no Empowerment Scrolls were used in the process :D )
