Outside LOTRO: Lord of the Rings Re-enacted by Ponies

November 23, 2012

Outside LOTRO

We had a few people send us this very well done re-enactment using the My Little Ponies for the characters. Baby Hobbit was glued to it and now we are streaming a lot of MLP on Netflix.

Enjoy!

The “It is not this day” speech is so EPIC that it puts me in battle mood even performed by Applejack. Also… PONIES! YAY!!!
I only wonder if some hardcore bronies will not like these characters wielding weapons :/

It tends to be only the casual bronies that dislike this stuff. The hardcore ones are usually all over it. Stuff like this is a daily occurance on sites like EquestriaDaily.

OK. But in this case by hardcore I intended to mean someone very strict with the Love and Tolerate thing.
I do not follow EquestriaDaily, nor am I a big fan of MLP, but I usually like the funny stuff its fandom makes :P

If you look closely at the extended scenes in the Return of the King DVD, you’ll see Sauron’s tower crumbling did indeed have a rainbow explosion. *waits for people to whip out their copies and look at the scene* Ok, I lied, but I really enjoyed this!

Honestly, I was waiting to see if ‘Dodos’ edge of hoof would be cut off.
