Clothing, Cloaks & Accessories
Choose a fresh look from the huge selection of LOTRO Store Clothing, Cloaks & Accessories! Cosmetic Bundles not included in sale.
Store Location: Cosmetics → Clothing ; Cosmetics → Cloaks ; Cosmetics → Accessories
Levels: All
195-295
98-148
CSTM RECOMMENDATION: Yay for a clothing sale! However I cannot give this a thumbs up because these are simply frilly fun items and there may be more useful things you could purchase (like what I dunno… clothes are important!). One thing I will caution you on is that some of these items are available to obtain in game either with skirmish marks, reputation or from an in-game festival (if you can bare to wait).
Half off, too! This is a good time to buy!
Be an informed purchaser and visit Darzil’s LOTRO Crafting Guide first. If it can be earned or purchased in game. Darzil’s got your info! Nothing wrong with buying what you wish in the LOTRO Store, I just rather you know that the the item you are buying is a store exclusive or not rather than be annoyed to find out later!
Note: warsteeds cosmetics are not included in this sale. This is for character clothing only.
Shared Wardrobe
Hoard away, share, and stay organized! Get up to 120 additional slots of storage for cosmetic items within the wardrobe and share amongst characters on your account! Fill your wardrobe with a plethora of cosmetic clothing and accessories available in the LOTRO Store!
Store Location: Account → Account Storage → Shared Wardrobe Space
Levels: All
595
298
CSTM RECOMMENDATION: This is the sale for the folks like me who believe there is no such thing as enough wardrobe space. However, I do understand there are folks how could care less about cosmetics so their Turbine Points are better saved for another day. It gets a “meh” rating only because it really depends on the player for this one. Nevermind that Goldenstar thinks you are completely insane for not wanting to buy this.
Actually this advertisement is incorrect as with Rohan my wardrobe inventory increased to 140 and I hadn’t purchased any additional space. I am maxed out (and this is a per account purchase) so I have no idea if they increased the individual tiers or how it’s split up but yay 140!
Also note that 50% off is a great deal so this if this is one you are looking for now is the time to buy!
You can learn more about these items plus much more about cosmetics in general in our cosmetics roundtable!
Cosmetic Outfit Slots
Slot your character’s new cosmetics without having to store them in your individual inventory bags. Save additional cosmetic-ensembles and quickly change outfits on the fly! Unlock up to seven total cosmetic outfit slots for all characters on your account!
Store Location: Account → Cosmetic Outfit Slots
Levels: All
495
248
CSTM RECOMMENDATION: These ONLY get a meh because having them or not will in no way enhance your characters ability to fight, level, etc. It will however enhance your ability to look fabulous while doing all those things! More outfit slots means more opportunities to show up to that event and be able to switch into the perfect attire.
You can learn more about these items plus much more about cosmetics in general in our cosmetics roundtable!
Emotes
Take advantage of this sale to build up your Emote collection and express whichever mood your character is in! Emote Bundles not included in sale.
Store Location: Character → Emotes
Levels: All
95-225 48-113
CSTM RECOMMENDATION: I love emotes, however they are in no way needed to help advance your character. It’s just for fun! They are per character so make sure you are on the character you want to use that emote before purchasing. The emote bundles are not part of this sale.
I will throw out there the warning that most emotes in the LOTRO Store can be earned in game either through deeds, festivals or reputation.
Here is a listing of the current store exclusive emotes (and links videos of me doing it if available). I still couldn’t find /howl in the store this time like last time we saw this sale.
I couldn’t get some to show up just by browsing and I had to use the search so try that if you’re not seeing a specific emote you are looking for.

Note that Shared Wardrobe is one of the items that gets a price raise for the base price.
Still, this sale puts it on sale even compared to what it was before Rohan. =)
(On a related note, thanks for keeping all of these sales pages around so we can see price histories!)

It increased only by 100 TP. 495 -> 595
A 50% sale is still a better than the old regular price on these puppies. 298 would have been a good sale on this item even before the price increase.

The wardrobe slots ’130-140′ are a VIP ERROR. .. wish I could find the dev post now, but basically, anything in them can go poof with the next update.
October 25, 2012 at 11:43 pm
well that’s uncool.

This is the thread:

It is uncool indeed.

Good sales tactic on Turbine’s part maybe. People will go “goody, 20 more wardrobe slots!” and quickly fill them up. Then when they discover it’s an error and they will lose 20 items permanently, they will be forced to buy the 20 extra slots before it happens. I can’t access the lotro forum from this work computer, but is that how it basically works?
October 26, 2012 at 11:19 am
If it’s their cockup then they shouldnt be penalising players for it by nuking tuff thats in the extra slots.

Another warning for would-be consumers: many of the standard emotes are broken right now, with missing and/or incorrect sounds. Not sure if the store-bought emotes are in the same boat, but I assume they are. Not sure if there’s been any mention of if/when the emotes will be fixed.
October 27, 2012 at 8:21 pm
A question about the mount emotes (rear up/bow/kick) are they available in game (deed, festival, or barter) and if so how?
October 27, 2012 at 8:35 pm
Everything in the list above are store exclusive (I am listing ones ONLY available in the store) and that does include the mount emotes.
October 29, 2012 at 12:31 pm
Prices on skirms and instances seem to have dropped as well. Skirms now seem to be 195 TP, far more reasonable compared to what other content costs.
Still it’s somewhat annoying for anyone like me who bought when they were on sale a couple of weeks ago for 277 TP.
October 29, 2012 at 9:12 pm
Wait, are Snow Wizard and Warm Hands exclusives? The LotRO wiki lists them as available during the Yule Festival. I’m not certain though. If they aren’t I’ll pick them up now for sure.
October 29, 2012 at 10:08 pm
LOTRO Wiki is incorrect. They were introduced and are usually advertised during Yule Festival but there is no way to earn them in game through the festival. They are store exclusive.

I do not know if this is a new item or not, but they are selling bundles for the tomes of agility/might/etc. The bundles gives you 5 tomes (lvl 1-5 for me, but since I never bought any tome, others who bought tomes might get other levels according to tomes they bought previously) for 1295 instead of 295 for each tome, which means that you save 180 if you buy the bundle, instead of buying each tome individually.
