The LOTRO Game Servers will be offline for maintenance on October 3rd, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM Eastern (-4 GMT). Additionally, the LOTRO Store will be offline for maintenance at 6:00 AM Eastern. During these downtimes we will be making some back-end configuration changes to the LOTRO Store and performing an upgrade to the in-game browser. Thanks for your patience, and we’ll see you back in the game soon!

    What are they doing at Turbine, this is like the second cancelled maintenance in 2 weeks. Something is going wrong there.

    They avoided quite a backlash because of this. Today is Germany’s national holiday and quite a lot of their customers would have been very … disappointed (to put it mildly) … if they had not been able to play.

    Would you like to have a maintenance on July 4th or thanksgiving? ;) I thought so.

      I really don’t think that’s the reason, they have done maintenance on European holiday’s before and it also doesn’t explain the previous cancellation of the maintenance.
