Some of the non-rohan patches/changes are wonderful, e.g:
“Khuzdul Tablets, Rusted Dwarf Tools and Bright Emblems of Nimrodel can now be traded in for Fused Tier 1 and Fused Tier 2 relics.”
Yes! Finally a use for them!

The LI barter items have always had a use, albeit a somwhat tedious one. Barter for an LI, slap a 650 xp rune on it, and decon. You get at least 3 T1 relics from it and usually much more, including occasional T4s.

Was there anything in the patch notes about your friends list being deleted?
Or is that something that is “working as intended”.
Or did my mom stop paying all of my friends? (Again)

I downloaded the update earlier, but now the launcher has been stuck at “examine game data..waiting” for about 20 minutes now. Guess I have to wait a bit longer.

Mine has been “waiting” for awhile now too…. I just really hope I can get some play time today.

Earlier this morning, the launcher updated and then restarted.
A little before 12:00 PM (eastern/server time), the “Examine Programs” went from “Waiting” to updating. It took about 15 minutes for the update to download and install (your time will probably be dependent on how many people are trying when you log on and your internet service provider).
At 12:12 PM, I was in and did some of the epic quest line, reset all of my LI points, wondered where my friends list had gone. After about 45 minutes, my client crashed. I restarted the client and tried to log in again. It went back to the “waiting”, where it has been for the last 20 minutes (it’s 1:24 PM as I write this).
Maybe they’re fixing the friends list thing.

Updated my clients during the day and logged in with only a slight pause for the examonation phase on the launcher.

Warning about the 6th bag. Apparently even if you have all the bags unlocked from being VIP in the past, you still have to buy the 4th bag AND 6th bag to get the 6th one. Emailed support about getting a refund since that information was not ingame and advertised as “6th Bag” in the LOTRO Store

The 6th bag has been (temporarily) removed from the Store because of this issue, which is a bummer. I hope you get your refund because this was not WAI.

Some prepurchasers had been having issues with not being able to get any quests from the new content which seems to have been sorted out going by global chat.
Others are being barred from caras galadhon even by the rope.

I logged in as my loremaster to check out the changes to the class. I didn’t recieve any of the Rohan pre-purchase bonuses. Did those only apply to pre-release character applications? All of my Isengard bonuses were retroactive so that is why I ask.

If you purchased rohan you should have gotten a package with the bonus goodies but you wouldn’t have gotten the pre-order goodies since we are now post launch. It looks like a brown box in your inventory.

Has anyone else had a lot of strange graphics issues upon loading? When I first signed on Riddermark, Moria was fire engine red with gems glowing neon green, kinda like early CGA graphics. After porting everything was fine. A kinmate was not so lucky. His guardian appears to be on fire: billowing smoke and steam and making him have to navigate while looking through the resulting haze. I thought it sounded pretty cool, but he tired of it quickly and couldn’t get rid of it through several measures.

In the Ettenmoors, creeps changed to lvl 85, however food and potions did not proportionally change – Turbine forgot this detail?

Will the new rules regarding loot drops apply in the ROR instances or just in landscape? Will rare drops from bosses be eolled upon by the group with on person winninglike today or will each member of the fellowship have an independent roll with the chance more than one person (or nobody) will win? Sorry this is coming so in so late but we had a discussion in Kim chat last night we couldn’t resolve.

The new auto-loot and open tapping rules only apply on landscape I believe although there are no ROR instances to run and test. The way it works on landscape is everyone is getting a personal roll. It’s not shared loot that is rolled on by the contributors. If we are in a fellowship and kill something, I’ll get a set of loot and you’ll get a set of loot. They are not shared.
Rare drops are simply awarded to whoever gets a lucky assortment of individual loot. The group does not get to roll on the item.
