Community Manager Rick “Sapience” Heaton and Executive Producer Hannah Foell join Massively in this livestream video. In the video they discuss a few things including:
- The Macintosh Client
- West Rohan
- The upcoming instance cluster
However, from what I have been told there isn’t a lot of new information since most likely things are still in development. So, if you are looking for the highlights Crell was kind enough to post a transcript of the highlights on the LOTRO Forums.

Western Rohan. Expansion. I knew that had mentioned that before. It’s nice to be vindicated.

Yeah they did mention a possibility of an expansion several times but this seemed to be a slip that it is indeed an expansion but it is still not fully confirmed

Of course not. It wont be confirmed until at least 6 months from launch I imagine. I’m just glad *I* wasn’t imagining things.

It’s curious that there was very little about the instance cluster if anything at all. Despite the fact I may never do them that kind of throws up a small redflag as to whether they’ll be ingame before the end of the year. Equally vague about any new skirmishes which are long overdue, only one from the last xpac area afterall.
I was really hoping that west rohan, namely helms deep which would be an awesome skirmish setting, would come into this expansion. If they keep splitting areas by as much as they are then the risk is they try and spin the game out longer than it’s natural lifespan. If they keep asking the same prices or more for the expansions I can see that sales of the legendary ones will dwindle from apathy.
Does anyone else start to think that sapience is to soon what erebrandir is to horseshoes. Dont care about info that you’re going to vaguely tease us with, save that rubbish for twitter and use interviews for actual passing of information.
