Yesterday I received a very special something in the mail from our friend Ivaneus from Through the Palantir and I just had to share.
First off let me say that I am the daughter-in-law of a woman who loves antiques so finding random little things in the mail is not a new experience for me. However, Ivaneus’ present was very unique.
Introducing the Unigoat.
I love him.
Baby Hobbit wanted to call him Sophie but I think he may get confused with all the stuffed animals, baby dolls and other assorted toys currently named Sophie in this house. As a result I’m calling him Alfonso. I’m sure he’ll respond to both names.
Alfonso’s trip to our Hobbit hole was a bit of a rough one. Luckily I had some glue on hand to re-attach his broken bits. Baby Hobbit spent the evening asking me every five minutes if he was dry, yet.
Accompanying Alfonso was a note from Ivaneus saying he was sending this “one-of-a-kind thing” to us to “commemorate many, many podcast episodes and being e-famous”. Who knew over 150 podcasts equals an awesome unigoat?!
