On Saturday, October 6th, A Casual Stroll to Mordor will be hosting an online party celebrating the Fellowship Walk and you are all invited!
The party is being orchestrated by the amazing Lonely Mountain Band which if you know LMB, it means everyone is bound for a good time! There will be special band performances, dancing, giveaways to guests and more!
Our goal is to encourage people to donate so that the Fellowship can move out of the Old Forest, which is the $2,000 donation marker. If we reach this goal (or beyond) during the concert, a walk will be staged after the event to our brand new goal!
Prizes
We’d like to thank Karen Altman, aka Ghingeriel from the Hobbiton Philharmonic for generously giving out those exciting prizes!
Prizes will include music from one of her recent albums, as well as CDs and album downloads.
This year, Ghingeriel is also crafting a “Rivendell Scarf” especially as a prize for this event!
Leaves of copper, crimson, gold, and violet cascade down this 58” (147 cm) lariat. Wear it long and elegant for a stroll to the Falls of Imladris, or wrap it snug and cozy for a journey to the High Pass. Please use caution when fighting trolls.
The yarn used contains a blend of wool and acrylic fibers. Created in a non-smoking environment.

How to Enter
Everyone attending the party will automatically enter the contest. We will have volunteer’s combing the crowd and collecting everyone’s names.
Should we run into layers due to crowds, check into the Regional channel or “/joinchannel cstm” for help getting into the party layer.
When: Saturday October 6th, at 4 p.m. /servertime (-4 GMT)
Where: Tom Bombadil’s House in the Old Forest, on the Landroval server

How Winners are Selected
Attendee names will be compiled into a spreadsheet and entries numbered. Winners will be drawn using http://www.random.org random number generator.
Winners will be announced on our blog and contacted by mail in-game by Goldenstar directly.
Giveaway Details
Some prizes are physical objects and will need to be shipped to your address. Winners of physical CDs will be contacted in-game by Goldenstar and asked for their mailing address.
Karen Altman has offered to ship the items to you. We will not misuse your personal information in any way nor will it be given to anyone other than Karen. We will collect the mailing information of the winners after being drawn.
These giveaways are open to all our LOTRO player friends! We won’t be able to ship physical prizes outside of North America so if an international player wins a CD, they will receive a digital download of the album instead.

I’m going to be in the Upper Peninsula attending a wedding on the 6th, so I’ll have to miss seeing everyone. Have a good party and walk and I’ll catch up to you for the next one, assuming I can get out of the Old Forest in one piece
