Turbine has released today a brand new video dev diary talking about the Rohan region. Discussed is the people who live there and the special areas you’ll find in the Eastern Eastermnet such as Fangorn, Amon Hen, Anduin, and Argonath.
The video also discusses the building of of the area into the existing game and the artwork used to detail out these new regions.

New Screenshots
We also have some new screenshots released. These screenshots are showing level 85 characters and some of the endgame content.
What the “end game” screenshots are supposedly showing us is not immediately clear (no end game is not playing drums and farming). I suspect these are views of the new Snowbourne town mentioned in a Ten Ton Hammer article that is something players will be helping to rebuild.

Some of the end game shots are of Hytbold, in both a burnt out and rebuilt state.

At 2:15 into the video there’s a panoramic shot of a town with a gorgeous mead hall in back against the sunset — took my breath away.
