The Treasure Event is now live across all servers! It will be running from now until September 23rd. According to Monday’s patch notes, there are new items added to this event!
If you haven’t been to the event take a look at Ketani’s Treasure Hunt Guide, which will be updated with the new information as soon as we can.
So go get your picks and start digging!

Someone on the forums reported getting the following from the unearthed sack:
You have acquired [50 Medallions].
You have acquired [10 Legendary Fragments].

Saw a treasure pick as one of the bits in a regular lottery prize cluster so had a feeling this was coming.
Got the treasure goat last time so not sure if I’ll bother alting it.

Last year they had a horse and a different goat (treasure ladden).. not that small one. Today I already got 3 horses but no goat.. is it possible that the one behind the NPC is all we have this year? It doesn’t even run faster (the horse still does).

There were 2 horses and 1 goat from event last time we saw it and they were only obtainable from the huge cache you’d dig up. I have not yet been in game but this slower goat is something you purchase from the vendor so it is different. I would guess that the huge cache prizes are still available.

I got a huge cache and all it had was 12 tokens in it….
Are the mounts only available in the huge ones? Once your initial supply of picks from the intro quest runs out you can get 4 every 15 minutes it seems, so 4 chances at the huge cache every 15 minute with a gazillion people looking. How are people getting multiple mounts so easily?

Yes, mounts only come in huge caches. I guess I was just lucky. Actually my first digging ended up in a horse. My 3 other friends didn’t get any mount yet (they have been playing for 4 hours straight). And I got A LOT of huge caches with only tokens inside. I always buy more cave claws and I think they help a lot gathering good caches with more picks and tokens, so I usually use more than 4 picks in 15 minutes.

I got the goat from a huge but the rest have been tokens. Does anyone know if the barter goat is that small or if its larger once bought? it will look rediculous under my human otherwise….

Oh, did you get a treasure ladden goat?? I was wondering about the size of the new goat as well.. haven’t seen anyone ingame with that one.

A kinmate found an Unearthed Sack in a large dig site – got 50 treasure tokens and 30 treasure picks. Why does it say “Cheating huh” when I try to post this comment?

I rewrote it a bit – put the word “treasure” in, maybe the site thought it was spam? It said “protected by (something something)” too….avc… nope, don’t remember. Ah well, it worked eventually.

One of my characters got into a glitched layer, there was only me and once i found the huge cache it the round never ended. However the timer for the cave claw q was only five minutes. So i was able to get berries with no competition. I didnt realize how that was glitched until I went to another acct and the timer for the berry q was 15min for her.
I dont remember it being so long last time… it will be near impossible to get the 1000 tokens for the goat at this rate, and she has 500 already from last year.

There should be no timer for your berry collection at all.

The 15 min timer on the berry quest is how long you have to wait before you can repeat the quest, not how long you have to complete it.

There’s still the treasure-laden goat, which I got this year, and I’ve seen the treasure-laden horse as well. My alt also managed to get the Cave-Claw Horse from a Huge Cache, so they’re in there too!

Yay treasure hunt! I never got any of the big prizes last time but the event is still fun.
Well… apart from the berry gathering quest. I hope they’ve fixed that one this time

I’ve had 10 huge caches so far and each has only had tokens in it.
On the bright side I’m quite close to getting the 1000 tokens goat.
