It’s likely a fix to the new tech they put in with the last patch to help with lag stuff. By all accounts it was working well on Windfola(the only server it as activated on) until the server crashed due to a bug in the software.

Probably pre-loading some more Rohan data too.

if they are doing pre-loading, I hope they let us know… so we’re not logging in to play and waiting a long time for updates afterwards, when maybe a short time is expected.

Lag, in~game music and ambient sounds are a must fix. I hope that is what they are working on.

The original announcement shouldn’t have mentioned patch notes. There are no notes.

    According to Sapience:

This patch is for some minor adjustments to the performance tech we added in the last patch. We identified some issues with it (issues that led to the Windfola crash last week) and believe we’ve resolved them. The tech, as before, will remain disabled until we’re satisfied that everything else is stable (and wasn’t accidentally impacted by these changes) before we select a single server and enable the tech again for testing.

So where are the patch notes as promised, they’re nowhere to be found?

Just read above update – so there’s no patch notes, but why does every update no matter how small involve updating the entire game which takes ages? It’s not exactly well designed?
