LOTRO has posted the release notes for Update 7.2 to the lorebook. It looks like the primary reason for this update is to prepare the game for the upcoming new in-game event the Farmer’s Faire which is scheduled to start on July 19th. The patch does include other smaller fixes to the game as well.

For those wondering about the “apperal dummies” here is what they look like in the Dolven View.. I have not looked anywhere else yet…. This is just were my loremaster was….

The dummies are an interesting way of to tie the store into the game, without logging in seems like a more pleasant alternative to the pervasive “BUY NOW!!!!” store icon. The option to actually see stuff in game rather than just a wardrobe preview is nice.
Perhaps some of the stables or hengstacer farm will get a similar thing for store mounts.

I like this way better than massive STORE icons. May add a bit of life to the world as well since most of the NPCs are useless.

I feel exactly the same way (in fact I just posted a similar statement in the latest post). It’s a great idea about the stables being filled with store horses!

Since when do those excist??? And what is that bullpoo, i’ve won all my 36,673 marks legitly, and now they are just purchasable in te store??? Really unfair, feel like i spent a whole lot of time for nothing

I can’t find it either. If this item is really exists, the infamous “pay to win” phrase is now correct.
But if in the future, i can buy Seals with real money…

What is with the damn nerfing of the crafting? My fine drinks no longer require a repast to make. While I am sure that making the game simple will be a boon to the simple minded, some of us enjoy having to work for the thing we use.
I am smelling the end of LOTRO as a game for me. When WOW nerfed down to the least able player, I left them. I see that the goal is to make a game any idiot can play, not being an idiot I will find something more interesting.
