Outside LOTRO: “The Hobbit” Music by ShadowCa7

Outside LOTRO

Reader Bert sent us an email with a link to this video and we couldn’t be more pleased that he did. This is a young lady called ShadowCa7 on her YouTube channel and she is performing the song/poem from The Hobbit entitled “Over the Misty Mountains Cold / The Dwarven Song of Old Wealth”. While very different in presentation from the song performed in The Hobbit trailer, it is just hauntingly beautiful. I enjoyed it and I hope you do as well!

Watch the video on YouTube.

Well, there’s a welcome introduction. I spent the last hour listening to all of her work on Youtube. Anyone that can cover Loreena McKennitt and make it sound BETTER has my complete, undying admiration.

Shall we attempt to book her for the first annual CTSM Gathering?

I found a link to her youtube page on the LOTRO forum… right amidst the misery thats going on there these days.

Reckoned she’d fit right in here :)

*Chuckle* The stuffies in the background kinda ruin the mood she was after I think but still made me chuckle. I heard her a few weeks ago, never thought to let the crew here know… sorry.
