Sapience returns once again to inform us about what we can expect from Turbine this week concerning LOTRO!
Listed in this update:
- We’ll be learning all about War-steeds
- What the different types mean (light, medium, heavy”
- How the War-steed cosmetic system works
- Another entry in the Behind the Story series of videos will be released; talking about integrating the Rohirim and their steeds from the books to the game.
- Two new developer diaries will also be released.
- One will focus on the creation of the Rohan region.
- The first class developer diary will be released (Burglars)
- This will focus on un-mounted skills
- The mounted combat skills will be released later in a separate diary for all classes
Again it looks like it’s going to be a busy week for Turbine! On a side note, Sapience notes that some of the Beta Invite emails might have been lost. However, if you can see the Beta forums (Bullroarer forums) then you are in the Beta and go ahead and log in. For those who cannot see the forums and have yet to be invited, they will be giving away more keys (they encourage you to follow them on Twitter for the most chances to win) as well as sending out more invitations.

Ty for posting a summary of these videos. While I have time to follow websites in brief snatches of free time at work, I can not have the doings on to watch a video.

Looks like they found the on button for their telly this week.
Still dont agree about the use of twitter for giving away stuff, be it beta keys or trivia based stuff, as up til now it has been working against those outwith the US time zones. They should maybe work on taking their own community website out of beta or use their existing lottery system.

I like these staged Community updates just fine. Here’s an idea. If turbine wants to update the community, why don’t they use all those fabulous live facebork and twit aps to actually update the community when the servers are splatted for hours, including the forums.
