Starting today until July 8, 2012 there is a sale on LOTRO Points bundle purchased in the LOTRO Store. They are doubling the bonus points on bundle packages. The larger the bundle you buy, the better the deal.
Here’s the break down of the approximate cost per 100 Turbine Points for each of the bundles. Values have been rounded to nearest penny.
- $7.99 bundle: $1.14 for 100 Turbine Points
- $19.99 bundle: $1.03 for 100 Turbine Points
- $34.99 bundle: $0.85 for 100 Turbine Points
- $59.99 bundle: $0.68 for 100 Turbine Points
I am guessing the $99.99 and $199.99 bundles are still available but are just not apart of this special. I am not able to login and take a look for myself although I’ll be interested to know if they are there or not. The fine print on the announcement post made it seem like only the bundles shown are available.
The two larger packages beats the cards you can buy in the retail store. If you were looking to stock up on some needed points, this is a good sale to catch. Especially if you were short on points to buy some of the quest packs on sale with the daily specials!

Doesn’t look the the highest bundles are available at this time. Though what seemed odd to me — and I don’t know if this is standard, is that two higher bundles are different from the advertised when you pay in euros. the highest point offer is 4200 base points, and 5000 bonus points for €49.99.

You can see the Euro (or pound) breakdown of these sales on the LOTRO site by clicking on the flag in the corner. I are a dum amerikan so I only do the dollars and don’t understand conversion stuff. I’m really not certain if the difference is standard.

I did not know that, thanks
Though the advertised bundles still does not correlate with what you can buy in the store. Very sneaky of them…

The UK prices are about the same (slightly worse). The best bundle is 9000 for £40 ($63). That’s 150tp for $3 extra. Euros are just the best though, at 9200 for €50 (also about $63). So that’s 350 more, for just under $3.
