I’m excited about the changes in the ettenmoors, mostly because I don’t remember Turbine saying there would be a change at all concerning PvMP :S

They’ve probably been keeping quieter about pvmp stuff to avoid the deluge of people going “FINALLY!!!” after the rumours of new maps and suchlike.
Given the size of the moors at the moment a new zone has potential if they’re thinking of bringing mounted combat to both sides.

They could team up with other players . . . but that would probably short-lived when the mount wanted to go left and the rider wanted to go right, and then the rider challenged the mount to spar, and then somebody sued Turbine . . .

There’s probably a new region coming soon with later content. When they first released the commendation system dev diaries they added into a question , “what do i do with my “Ettenmoors/Isendeep” rewards?”
not sure if it still says this but it sounds like a new area to creep in. Would be pretty cool to get Creep “Races” like Freeps.

Mounted combat shows us up against warg riders so that means they can presumably run faster. Spiders could get web swing? Although some lotr based games have in the past shown goblins riding spiders.
Instead of a mount they could maybe get a rider to pimp out and give LI’s to.
They probably want to get the mounted system actually in game and well tested as a live system before it gets tweaked into a pvmp setup.
