Hoard away, share, and stay organized! Get up to 120 additional slots of storage for cosmetic items within the wardrobe and share amongst characters on your account! Fill your wardrobe with a plethora of cosmetic clothing and accessories available in the LOTRO Store!
Store Location: Account → Account Storage → Shared Wardrobe Space

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: This is the sale for the folks like me who believe there is no such thing as enough wardrobe space. However, I do understand there are folks how could care less about cosmetics so their Turbine Points are better saved for another day. It gets a “meh” rating only because it really depends on the player for this one.
Also note that 30% off is higher than normal percentage so this is one of the better deals we’ve seen on this particular item!
Customize and make your character more powerful by unlocking additional Virtue, Class, Race or Legendary Trait Slots to use with your virtues, traits, and legendary abilities.
Character → Character Upgrades → Trait Slots

95-195
76-156
CSTM RECOMMENDATION: First it’s important to note that this is only for free and premium players. VIPS have access to all their virtue, class, race and legendary trait slots, however they unlock at specific levels so it may not look like they are not available.
These may not be an important buy at the earlier levels but those nearing end game will want to consider buying these. They are like equipping additional stats that otherwise you’ll be missing out on. I’ll make a guess and say they may start coming in pretty handy around the level 40+ range.

+25% Legendary Item XP Tomes
Gain a 25% bonus to item experience earned from killing monsters around your level range for 30-60 minutes! Single & 5-stacks available.
Store Location: Buffs & Boosts → Advancement → Item XP
Levels: 51+
65-90
52-72
CSTM RECOMMENDATION: A quicker result to the same end if you just took your time. It will only affect the legendary items you have equipped and set to earn exp. If you’re looking to pump out some relics and get your LI to 30 for the legacies, this will help you get there faster.

Cool! Is that new artwork for trait slots?
June 21, 2012 at 8:38 pm
Yup. It was typically a dwarf icon before I believe.

Regarding the trait slots, how many TP’s would it take to unlock all the slots available? and then, what would the cost be in equivalent $$?
I only ask because it may work out to be cheaper to subscribe as a VIP for a month and then get the trait slots and a whole bunch of other goodies for free (sorta)..
Thoughts?

I’ll go out on a limb here without doing the actual math and say that it’s going to be way cheaper to just VIP for a month and log into all your characters vs going the TP route. Plus you’ll get 500TP for that month of VIP as well.

You start with 7-8 unlocked, across the virtue and trait lines, as f2p so if you run (or plan to have) multiple characters then subbing for a month will be the best option if you are able to do so.
Unless things have changed then logging on will unlock them even if they’re level locked.
If you cant or choose not to sub then wait while the sales roll around and use them each time.

Don’t forget that there are people (not me) playing entirely free, so they buy all these only with points earned in-game.

I disagree about your recommendation For Shared Wardrobe Space.
Now I put my alts in one costume and I leave them there for years. I seldom even look at the cosmetic armor anyone else is wearing. And I would place the cosmetic armor system far down the list things I like about LotRO.
So if a color blind and fashion uncordinatated husband like me needs wardrobe space it must totally mainstream.
It should get a thumbs up.
I understand it doesn’t affect your DPS but it is part of the game for most players.
We are just not very good at it!
