Limited Release
The Rift cosmetic gear (this is not functional armor) is available in the LOTRO store for those interested until June 28th.
Pieces sell for 295 Turbine Points each or 1,295 Turbine Points for a full set (6 pieces) which ends up to be around a 27% discount. There is a set available for each class but you don’t have to stick to your specific class when purchasing.
I think it’s probably also good to note that you can earn this cosmetic gear in game by cashing in some marks and medallions at the cosmetics skirmish vendor.

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: More space is always a good thing. You’ll always find something that you’ll want to keep. I will note that while you can buy all the vault upgrades in the store, only upgrades 7 – 9 are store exclusive. All other vault upgrades can be purchased in game with in-game currency. I would recommend spending your pretend gold before dishing out your real life moolah.

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: I love my shared storage and I’ll tell you why. Because sending my tailor, jeweler, or scholar materials that my alts collect one item at a time via the mail system is stupid boring and annoying to me. Shared storage is a convenient place all your characters on the server can access. Now I just dump all the mats in there for the crafter to come pick up later. Or use it to store some of my wardrobe overflow so all my characters can still dress up.
Inventory Bags
Increase the amount your character can carry! Unlock a 4th and 5th Inventory Bag for all characters on your account – an extra 15 slots each!

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: I personally have no idea how anyone could survive with only three bags. I suppose that just says I keep too much junk. If you’re like me, I say buy this. Buy it now and you’ll be happier. It is an account wide purchase although you do have to buy each of the two additional bags separately and all your characters on every server will have all five bag slots open to them.
As an added note, we do know that if you plan to purchase the 6th bag slot in the store, you must own bag 4 and 5 already. [source] Might as well pick them up while they are on sale, eh?
Currency Cap

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: The currency cap can be annoying and this definitely is a worthwhile purchase. Bonus that it is an account wide purchase. It is free for VIP and if you downgrade from VIP to Premium to get to keep the unlimited gold cap, however it is only for characters you created while VIP. I think if you don’t plan on VIP for any length of time, this is a worthwhile purchase.
Slayer Deed Accelerators
Increase the size of your quest log, earn virtues, titles, and even Turbine Points by completing deeds! Earn double-rewards for slaying Goblins, Spiders, and more for 30-60 minutes! Single & 5-stacks available.

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: These are great ways to finish up deeds quicker and reduce the grind. If you’re like me and find the idea of killing 320 wargs to earn a virtue a chore than you will definitely like these little boosters.

As far as the Rift cosmetics are concerned, one Forges run and a few solo skirmishes will provide you with all the marks and medallions you need to get the entire set from the Cosmetics vendor at the skirmish camp. I’ve done this for my Minstrel and I’m considering doing so for my Burglar. The Rift sets are, in my opinion, still some of the best looking armour sets in the game.

If you’re planning on buying the legendary edition of rohan it also opens bags 4&5… Still waiting to hear if its wai but it seems likely

Personally, I’d actually rather not buy the inventory bags and the currency cap on a F2P account (I haven’t). I’d rather subscribe for a month and be able to unlock it that way. If you create a lot of toons after your VIP runs out, maybe it’s worth it. In my opinion, you should save your TP for quest packs and such stuff if you’re on a budget. By being VIP for a short time, you also unlock Swift Travel, which you can’t permanently unlock with TP.

I purchased the champion rift set. A recommendation, use red dye on it, it looks awesome.
