For those of you who are not familiar with Weatherstock, let me catch you up to speed. It’s basically a huge concert for musicians across all servers hosted by the Lonely Mountain Band on top of Weatherstock on the Landroval server.
Let me just try to express this; this is a big deal. I’ve never seen as many players in one place at once as I have at Weatherstock events. To get more of a gist of this concert, check out our wrap up post from last year.
We are getting closer to Weatherstock IV and in preparation for the festivities, there will be a series of concerts where you can listen to one of the bands scheduled to perform at Weatherstock.
The first in this new series will be Symphonia et Gloria from the Server Belegaer, Germany.
Join in the fun and merriment TONIGHT Friday, May 18th at 6pm server time (-5 GMT) at the Prancing Pony on the Landroval server!

Weatherstock is THE largest event you will ever see on any MMO. Participation last year was between 500 to 600! Epic event with Epic lag!

“Largest” … ? EVE Online regularly gets larger. Recently there was a weekend event where up to 2300 players were in the same star system at the same time.

Remarks:
They are performing at 6 pm CEST (GMT+2), which is now.
And Belegaer is a German server, which also includes Swiss and Austrian people and a lot of bordering regions…

The announcement says 6pm Server time and it is hosted on Landroval not Belegaer. I could be wrong but I was only reported what is on the flyer.

Hm, then they also performed on Belegaer at 6pm local server time. Maybe as a dress rehearsal.

It’s June 16th this year. I just started a character a couple weeks ago on Landroval. So I’m super excited.

Weatherstock! An event not to be missed if at all possible! Great music! Lots of dancing! Some consumption of ales and wines and various foods and general merryment to be had by all.
And yes, it can get laggy. For those that had trouble getting into the event last year, there was a live feed that ran on JustinTV iirc.

Last year CSTM live broadcast the concert on Middle-earth Network Radio and Merric had set up a live stream through our Justin.tv (now Twitch.tv) account to view the show.

TO CLARIFY ANY CONFUSION:
This event was NOT Weatherstock itself. It was “only” one concert out of a series of (hopefully) 10 leading up to the big event in June. If you have missed this concert you have NOT missed Weatherstock!
The WS 2012 Concert Series is designed to give the visiting bands which will play at Weatherstock an oppurtunity to play a longer concert without time-constraints and with full attention to only them. We think it is a bit much to ask players to level up a character for Weatherstock and only play 3 songs there. So we want to give them this concert series where they can present themselves to the audience real good. And boy… Symphonia et Glora did yesterday! They were an awesome 10 people band.
