Spring Festival is Live!

May 24, 2012

Events

SpringSpring Festival is once again in Middle-earth and that means time to stomp some shrews and get lost in a hedge maze! Festival is open until June 11th according to the LOTRO Calendar.

We are not expecting the festival to be drastically different from last year  but we will have a new updated festival guide up as soon as possible once we run through everything and note any changes.

In the meantime here are last year’s guide to help you navigate until the 2012 guide is available!

So many festivals! I take pride in collecting all the cosmetics to lend to kinmates and friends! But I am starting to reconsider this since many of my toons are not being played.

The real question is..when is farmer’s faire scheduled? :)

.. On a side note.. Can we get a recommended route for flower harvesting for the 3 regions, especially the shire?

Other two regions dont seem nearly as bad.

I start at the rez circle behind Michel Delving, circle Sandson’s Farm and then zig-zag my way across the fields between the farm and the road coming from Waymeet. I can’t remember if there are any flower nodes on the other side of the road, there may be, but the majority of them are in the Delving Fields area bordered by Rushhock Bog to the north, the road to Needlehole to the east, the East Road to the south and Michel Delving to the west.

The flowers seem to spawn pretty quick, and if an area is being farmed by a few folks just go to the other regions and look for a less busy area. to be honest the flower boxes are not as much fun as say someone just starting their first festival, but its good to get any kind of free loot. I wonder if there is a rare item to be had from the boxes….

love the new horse and outfits, they are pretty.

Someone already posted speculation about Box contents. Looks about right so far based. I’m going to collect boxes later tonight after the initial rush ends, hehe.

yes, the boxes seem to be what was offered in the random gift mails from festivals before, with the addition of paints/dyes. will be cool if a mount is in there too.
