The following items are on sale from April 20-26th. Below you will find the sale listings as well as our recommendation on purchasing.
It is important to note that this week’s sale items are all 35% off instead of the normal 20% off!
Free Sample of the Week
This freebie allows you to repair your gear and sell unwanted items to make room in you inventory from anywhere without having to find a vendor. Service lasts for one hour and this week you can get it free with coupon code: RSS549.
Note: this item starts counting down it’s 1 hour timer immediately after purchase! Thanks for letting us know Sierra!
We’ve had a few saying that coupons don’t work for them. Coupons are picky. You have to have the exact correct item in your cart for the code to be valid. Find and add the repair and sell services. Place the item in your cart and apply the coupon code at check out. If it doesn’t work, most likely you have the wrong item in your cart or you have entered the code incorrectly.

Shared Storage
Share items among your characters on the same server!
- • Easily manage shared item
• Start with 20 slots; up to 90 extra slots availabl
• Filter and search for items by name
• First 20 slots are free to VIPs!
Store Location: Account → Account Storage
Levels: All
595-995
387-647
CSTM RECOMMENDATION: I love my shared storage and I’ll tell you why. Because sending my tailor, jeweler, or scholar materials that my alts collect one item at a time via the mail system is stupid boring and annoying to me. Shared storage is a convenient place all your characters on the server can access. Now I just dump all the mats in there for the crafter to come pick up later. Or use it to store some of my wardrobe overflow so all my characters can still dress up.

Vault Storage
Store more!
- • Store and organize your character’s items
• Increase your number of vault storage slots by 15 per Vault Upgrade; up to 165 slots available (every character receives a 30-item vault for free).
• Filter and search for items by name!
Store Location: Character → Vault Storage
Levels: All
195-995
127-647
CSTM RECOMMENDATION: More space is always a good thing. You’ll always find something that you’ll want to keep. I will note that while you can buy all the vault upgrades in the store, only upgrades 7 – 9 are store exclusive. All other vault upgrades can be purchased in game with in-game currency. I would recommend spending your pretend gold before dishing out your real life moolah.

Inventory Bags
Increase the amount your character can carry! Unlock a 4th and 5th Inventory Bag for all characters on your account – an extra 15 slots each!
Store Location: Account → Account Storage
Levels: All
495
322
CSTM RECOMMENDATION: I personally have no idea how anyone could survive with only three bags. I suppose that just says I keep too much junk. If you’re like me, I say buy this. Buy it now and you’ll be happier. It is an account wide purchase although you do have to buy each of the two additional bags separately and all your characters on every server will have all five bag slots open to them.

Currency Cap
Carry unlimited gold!
- • Remove the restriction on currency from all current and future characters created on your account!
• Allows you to buy a Deluxe house, which grants even more storage!
Store Location: Account → Currency Cap
Levels: All
395
257
CSTM RECOMMENDATION: The currency cap can be annoying and this definitely is a worthwhile purchase. Bonus that it is an account wide purchase. It is free for VIP and if youdowngrade from VIP to Premium to get to keep the unlimited gold cap, however it is only for characters you created while VIP. I think if you don’t plan on VIP for any length of time, this is a worthwhile purchase.

Is the repair services freebie something where the timer starts counting down as soon as you “buy” it?
April 20, 2012 at 1:08 am
Yeah, it is – which I just found out the hard way.

Shared storage! Awesome, I had just been wishing for it to be on sale.

Question on the “Shared Storage” Sale. It says “First 20 slots are free to VIPs!” Is that true? All I ever see on the forums is “Shared Storage” is something ALL account types have to purchase.
April 20, 2012 at 2:16 pm
I was going to ask the same thing, John. I am VIP and I have never had access to shared storage.
April 21, 2012 at 11:06 am
Perhaps I am mistaken. I didn’t pay for my initial 20 slots in the store and I had thought it was a VIP perk. Apparently that isn’t the case. Sorry guys.
April 21, 2012 at 12:51 pm
No, actually, for ‘certain’ types of VIP, it is — I think you had to have the adventure pack back when it was in pre-order or something along those lines.
April 20, 2012 at 10:34 am
It’s worth noting that both the currency cap removal and the bag unlocks can be gotten from buying one month of VIP (along with several other bonuses), so that’s another purchase to consider if those are valuable to you

By the by, do you guys usually max out your shared storage slots? I’m hemming and hawing over whether I ought to, but then — it’s not like there’ll be another sale any time soon… And then I think, “oh god what about the other sales they have, what if they get something good up?”
Gah!

Two questions here
1) Does shared storage purchase count across servers (the slots themselves, I know the items in storage don’t count), or only on the server you purchased it on?
2) How exactly do you get the freebie? Every time I try this I get ‘invalid code’ responses when I enter the code. Am I doing it in the wrong place?
April 21, 2012 at 11:15 pm
1) Yes, the extra slots are available on any server.
2) You have to get the exact item that is listed as being free, and how I do it is to copy the code from this either CSTM or the store sale page and use the express checkout and paste the code using Ctrl+v either in the spot for the code or if that is being a pain I paste it into the chat window and type it manually into the coupon entry space.

Oh… you have to select the item and put it in your cart? Oops. I thought you added the code and it added the item for you.
