The following items are on sale from April 6th – 12th. Below you will find the sale listings as well as our recommendation on purchasing.
Free Samples of the Week
We have two free samples this week!
These two items have the same effect but for opposing factions of monster play. The monster’s use the crumbling brand and the free players use the crumbling insignia. Consuming this item will make you immune to daze, stun, knockdown, root, slow, silence, disarm and fear effects for 1 minute. If currently afflicted by one of those debilitating attacks, using the item will remove the effect and then add the immunity timer. These items can only be used in the Ettenmoors and require a minimum level of 40.
Crumbling Brand Coupon Code: 967RDT (Monster Players)
Crumbling Insignia Coupon Code: 569TGE (Free Peoples Players)

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: Content on sale will almost always get a thumbs up. I can’t even think of an instance when it wouldn’t get a thumbs up.
Quests means just that. You are only purchasing the quests. This does not include the Isengard instances, Draigoch’s Lair raid or the Skirmish Trait Max Rank. Find out more information on the difference between buying in a bundle and buying piece by piece in this article.

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: These are one of those convenience items that gives you a shortcut without the grind. These get a meh simply because it’s not necessary. You can get through the normal in-game methods.

Legacies
Customize your Legendary Items the way that you want! Replace legacies with ones that are more appropriate to your needs. When you have the right legacies in your Legendary Items, you’ll be able to deal more damage, heal more effectively, generate higher threat, and more!

CSTM RECOMMENDATION: Legacies are cheaper and easier to just obtain in game. Yes, this allows you to select the item you want and I can see the temptation of a short cut so if that’s what you want go for it. We suggest having a few spare legendary items you keep to “harvest” legacies from. They just need to be level 30 to pull the legacy off of.

./roar at the brands being free samples in the store. Its incredibly annoying when somebody uses one of these to charge away from combat to safety.

Possibly not quite as annoying as being cc’d up the wazoo. Both sides can use a version so it balances out. Free samples just one item usually so give it a minute and bring on the pain again.
Never realised that the isen qp was so expensive in the store before now but at least it coincides with the bonus tp sale.

While both sides can use the brands they are vary annoying to f2p/premium players who don’t have a billion points to spend.

those brands/insignias shouldn’t even be in the store and have no place in pvp. won’t be touching those, even when free. it’d be nice if someday turbine got a clue about pvp.
