We have a sudden influx of gaming sites with LOTRO giveaways celebrating the 5th anniversary. I’ll use this post to list all that we find!

More than likely Turbine is giving them lifetime account codes (and all other prizes). These sites probably haven’t purchased anything.

They should give CSTM lifetime account codes they can give away to “contributors whose usernames start with V” . . . er, podcast listeners.

Actually, all kidding aside, they absolutely should be giving such things to a website with the LOTRO traffic that CSTM sees. Just because we’re already their children doesn’t mean that Turbine can’t send us some candy, too.

As Goldenstar wrote, these are prizes supplied by Turbine in a deal with those sites. Turbine have been giving away lifetime VIP status as grand prize in contests and giveaways before, it’s all marketing
