What a bunch of whiny babies. I wonder if Turbine uses the same clause in their ToS that most sites do that state that downtime can occur without notice for any period of time (maybe in the EULA?).
For God’s sake, if you are so addicted you have to come here to whine about some site tech’s not fixing it fast enough, go DO SOMETHING IN REAL LIFE! Go for a walk, call your mom, READ A DAMN BOOK!
I could swear the average age of a complainer here is about 7 years old.

dear sir/madam,
while i agree with the opinion that something else might be done in the time that servers are down, something even more productive than whining, i hope you will understand that for some people lotro is a favourite activity at home, and one that they are actually paying for. therefore, one should never judge before taking into account all the facts.
seriously though, i was a bit put off by the servers being down all afternoon and evening yesterday (european gamer here) but it gave me the chance to watch a movie, do some research and even read the creep playing guide on this fine site.
