Turbine has extended their phone support hours for their English-speaking clients.
- Monday through Friday: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm Eastern (GMT -5)
- Weekend Coverage: 12:00 noon to 9:00pm Eastern (GMT -5)

Previously weekday coverage was from noon –8:45pm and there was no weekend support. I always thought it strange that gaming companies would have no weekend support (it’s common across many games I’ve played). The only time I’ve ever needed to talk to account support was when I was having issues when playing – which happens to be primarily on the weekend for me!

Despite that I have never needed to contact Support(and hopefully I never will), this can surely only be good news. Surprised that it has received such little attention frankly.
And I’m being rather cautious here, but I think changes like these, along with other things like the recent proposed changes to MP AND Sapience’s reply in the ‘a word about the new gear in the LOTRO Store’ thread, are signs that Turbine is making at least some effort to try and improve things.
I think that is good.

Oh, weekend support, nice. Hoping I won’t need it any time soon, but very nice to know it’s there.

Well i just went through a weekend with no account access and no Tech support until Monday! it was painful. I am glad nobody else will have to suffer same fate! The support was great though and only took 10 minutes.
I wondered the same thoughts about how Tech support was not open for the prime time of gaming on the weekend! Of course i used a few choicer words as I went through those withdrawal symptoms!
