Double Bonus Points on Largest Bundle

February 15, 2012

LOTRO Store

Monday is a holiday in the U.S. and LOTRO likes to pair up double bonus point specials with these types of events. They are having a double bonus points offer on their largest bundle only. This sale is available until February 20, 2012.

The $59.99 bundle reduces the cost per point to $0.006 (6/10ths of a penny) per point. This beats the cards you can buy in the retail store and is actually the lowest cost per point I’ve seen for a Turbine Point. If you were looking to stock up on some needed points, this is a good sale to catch.

The sale price for our international friends are £39.99 and 45,99 €. See the official post for charts and announcement in German and French.

It’s a good deal if you’re interested in it, which I may be…

Someone needs to check their math. 2200+950 does not equate to 2600.

Thanks for the currency conversions. It’s not often that people think/bother to do that, so it’s much appreciated. :)

Not to pick nits, but it actually converts to $.00677, or 2/3 or a penny. Still a great deal if shopping for TP.

I was referring to the conversion to sterling and euros, which isn’t often provided on US sites.

If looking at unit price I would lean towards price per 100TP as that feels more meaningful and avoids fractions of currency that don’t actually exist – in this instance $0.68 per 100TP.

        /business analyst mode off. :)
