The winter themed emotes have appeared in the LOTRO store for you to purchase! I’ve received several questions asking for these so I know some of you have been looking for them. These are the same emotes from last years so you won’t see them if you already picked them up.
They both are the typical emote price of 195 TP and are a per character only purchase. They are store exclusive emotes and cannot be earned by any method in game.

Also found in the store is a new emote called "Jumping Jacks" that I had not seen before.
I would advise you to skip this emote for now because when bravely purchased by our friend Hymne at Cosmetic LOTRO, we discovered there was no animation associated with the emote. It just put the text that she was performing jumping jacks.
This could have just been an accidental early release as there has been no announcement I’ve seen on new emotes. Anyway steer clear of it until we hear that the animation is working!
Update: QuartermasterU has posted they weren’t aware of this issue and that Jumping Jacks has been removed to be corrected.

Sigh…I might have to give in and start buying these. I’ve been holding out for a bundle, but it looks like it just ain’t gonna happen…until the day after I purchase one, of course….

This has probably been answered somewhere before, but are these account wide or do you have to buy for each character? I haven’t purchased any in the store before, but they do seem cool!

Ha! Without the rubbing of the arms, the /warmhands emote looks more like a /greedy emote or a /myprecious emote.

They refunded my 250TP on the Jumping Jacks emote immediately! Very nice, but I would like to have that emote some day

Slightly off topic, but I’ve heard that in the past a /read emote has been available. Do you know if that’s ture, and if there’s any way of getting it? I can’t seem to find info on it anywhere. Hopefully they’d bring it back, that’s one emote I’d be likely to buy for most of my characters.

Someone claims it was sold in-store, but I don’t remember it personally. I think with Jazz Hands it was in the beta store but never added to the live store (presumably because of bugs like this).

I hope they go back and fix it one day if it’s still broken, and add it to the store. It’d be a really cool emote for RP purposes (and for screenshots).
