Each week we ask you to share your successes in Middle Earth with the rest of the community. Post a comment letting us know what you’ve accomplished this past week. We will pick comments at random to read on the podcast giving you a chance for a little shout out for yourself! Our shout-outs are only as good as the information we get so remember:
- Don’t forget to add your character name, what server you play on and if you like, add your Kinship if you have one.
- Please keep your posts brief. We won’t be able to read full novels of your adventures. At least make it so we can easily sum it up!
- Do not be afraid to post any of your achievements. We don’t care if you just saved Archet or cleared out Ost Dunhoth. We want to hear from you!
These shout outs will appear in Episode 110 of A Casual Stroll to Mordor Podcast. You are welcome to join us live at 9:30pm Eastern on Saturday! First time joining us live? See our post on how to join CSTM’s live broadcast.
Comments for this thread will be closed after recording as this is a weekly thing. If you missed this week’s cut off, don’t fret! A new thread just like this one will appear next Friday.

Jumping headfirst into the new Isengard expansion I’ve been working on nothing else but. Isilwren is now 74, finished all the epic and a good portion of the quests. Now I’m just running around trying to find quests I missed in each area so I can complete all my deeds. Loads of fun!

Hello there,
Made another character this week, a Captain this time (number 11 on this server). Got him as low as level 11 so far because I spend way to much time in front of the mirror.
Frustration peaked today as i couldn’t find a suitable Hauberk for him amongst the low level regions outfitters (and Store).
But today also had a highlight when it suddenly hit me i could buy high level gear in AH and slap it on my character through the wardrobe.
To keep it short, my lvl 11 Captain looks more the Dunedain than the Dunedain themselves … oh how i love this game.
/Salute to you all from Farnum of Dale (whithywindle server),
Dunedain Captain Extraordinaire
PS: My pauperish looking bannerdude, Bailey, also says hello.
So glad he walks way behind me ><

Greetings Goldenstar and Merric,
Gilmiras (gil-MERE-es) of Clan THAC0 on Firefoot has FINALLY achieved World Reknown! My kinmates and I have been rep grinding in Endewaith for seemingly forever, and I owe them much thanks for all their assistance in completing this deed.

Went back to playing my Warg Omnomonom this week, having quite a bit of fun in the evening raids. However my achievement (?) was in breaking down and succumbing too the will of the TP Store, buying the rank 10 Shadow Howler trait, which helped keep me alive for a few more seconds in this weeks raid.
Rhidur (Rid-Ur) Captain of the Free-People,
Warg Omnomonom, stupid and hungry,
Landroval.

This week I got up 5 levels, so now I am at level 16. Had fun destroying barrow-wights and slimy creatures in the downs
. Finished the Brigand Slayer and Barrow-wight slayer deeds.

Brynulf of Landroval – Finally returned to playing regularly after nearly a year’s absence (basically since F2P launched), even better is I picked up and finished Volume 2 (except the insane number of epilogues) and am nearly caught up on Volume 3 so I can enter Dunland and start the new epic book quests.

Howdy Goldenstar and Merric. This week finally after four years of playing one of my chars has completed enough deeds to fully max out there quest log at the fifty quests.
All the best from Katric officer of the Protectors of the Shire. Eldar

After coming back from a long break from lotro I decided to re-roll on a new server (landroval) so the hobbit burglar teatro was born… Just like good old bilbo he left the shire and would soon find adventure, he joined a group of friendly kinsmen called the council of the secret flame and learnt all the tricks of his trade, he made it to level 22 and is now heading to the forsaken inn…

Kinship: Visionary March (http://themarch.guildlaunch.com/), the best art-based (poetry, songs, drawings, paintings, etc.) role play kinship on Landroval!
My big success is that I managed to get all my characters cosmetically set up for epic role play and Ryeme is now a Master Apprentice Scribe after Visionary March helped me gather the rest of the Aged Scraps of Texts which are impossible to get. Big shout out to Celonduil, and btw, if anyone sees him ask him how Outback is.
(Man am I going to be in trouble if this one is posted. Totally do it!)

Azakael here (AZ, like your kinmate “Oh, Az!” – ah – kale.)
Alexahil – Level 70 Champion of Nimrodel. Still Shirriffs of Cydonia. Well, his level is pretty much it. Hit 70. Finished Vol. III Book 3. (*sniffs* still gets me, even the second time…) Is actually now in Dunland and finished up the Bonevales. Now onto Trum Dreng.
October 14, 2011 at 6:15 pm
This week I passed a meta-milestone; according to my Raptr tracking, I’ve played over 1000 hours of LotRO.
The true number is actually higher than that – maybe as high as 1500 hours – because I played for many months before I started tracking it. My /played time on my main, Mayda, is 1 month 3 weeks 5 days 12 hours.
October 14, 2011 at 6:19 pm
I made it to level 75 without deleting any of my Isengard armour rewards! I now have complete armour sets with the exception of one pair of shoulders and a cloak. I’ll have to level my champion to get those, but first back to my Loremaster!
October 14, 2011 at 6:35 pm
Name: Hantal Arnosius
Server: Nimrodel
Kin: Light in the Dark
Achievements: Killed many Worms in Angmar. Made it to first Trev Gallorg village. Killed 2 Drakes in Angmar. Defeated 6 Red-Zone enemies.

Calmelthiriel (Cahl-mel-THEE-ree-el), Officer of the Boundary Wardens on Windfola, FINALLY earned her “Conqueror of the Watching-stones” skill. It was a long and arduous task but I was able to accomplish the quests with the help of my wonderful husband, Thondar.

Well, besides finishing the ROI epic book (very neat stuff there, and it leads well into the next book, can’t wait), I joined some kinmates on an Ost Dunhoth Attempt. We took two days for this raid- one day to learn the raid, another to try it a bit more seriously, and did fairly well. We nearly beat Wound wing several times before our raid leader realized we were on Tier 2, not 1 as we had thought, and upon lowering it we promplty blazed through the wound wing, got through the fear wing trash mobs in one try to reach Durin’s Bane. Unfortunately, the time spent on T2 and then finishing it on T1 meant several members had to drop, so we merely ran at the balrog shouting and waving our blades (or rocks) in a suicidal attack, but still managed to knock about 3 or 400 k off his morale. I’d call that a good night any day of the week.

Butterfree reached level 75, and kindred with both Theodred’s Riders and the Men of Dunland. More importantly, though, she found a traveling outfit that looks perfect on her, as well as a new 2nd Age Level 75 staff, which turned out nearly perfect! Butterfree also mined lots and lots of ore, and was able to become a Westfold-Master Crafter.
Chansey the Minstrel also found her lute and her voice, and has joined the wide world of adventuring on the server of Imladris! She’s looking forward to her adventures. Westu hal!

Gilreth, my elvish minstrel Laurelin made it to 73 and Westfold Master Prospector. Also finished the RoI epic book with her normal companion Droroin the dwarf champion. Now doing quests in the Gap of Rohan and hoping to make 75 by the end of the weekend. Mordarwen my elvish champion started her Westfold cooking and has pretty much made it to Westfold Master Cook. She also made her first two pieces of T7 guild jewellery for kin mates. Hildas (l65 hobbit burglar) is currently just about to finish Book 2 of Volume III and then will do Book 3 before proceeding to Dunland. He is already a Westfold Scholar thanks to the drops from the two elves ahead of him.

Made “Aslaron” on Landroval and sent in-game mail to Goldenstar
