Player Achievements

Each week we ask you to share your successes in Middle Earth with the rest of the community. Post a comment letting us know what you’ve accomplished this past week. We will pick comments at random to read on the podcast giving you a chance for a little shout out for yourself! Our shout-outs are only as good as the information we get so remember:

  • Don’t forget to add your character name, what server you play on and if you like, add your Kinship if you have one.
  • Please keep your posts brief. We won’t be able to read full novels of your adventures. At least make it so we can easily sum it up!
  • Do not be afraid to post any of your achievements. We don’t care if you just saved Archet or cleared out Ost Dunhoth. We want to hear from you!

These shout outs will appear in Episode 109 of A Casual Stroll to Mordor Podcast. You are welcome to join us live at 9:30pm Eastern on Saturday! First time joining us live? See our post on how to join CSTM’s live broadcast.

Comments for this thread will be closed after recording as this is a weekly thing. If you missed this week’s cut off, don’t fret! A new thread just like this one will appear next Friday.

My Loremaster got to 75, and only needed one repetition of the repeatable quests (which is good: they’re supposed to be repeated, right). Now I just need to get my head around equipping her! And start on pulling six of my alts from 65 to 75. Which will probably be fine, until I meet the Pit of Iron, for the n-th time!

Warleader Gursak Gutwrencher here, listen up maggots!

Reached Rank 4 this week over the bloodied corpses of the treacherous, so called, Free Peoples of Withywindle. Enjoy your freedom while it lasts, because soon you will join the ranks of the Armies of the Great Eye.

Be it as risen corpses, with the remains of your rotting flesh desperately klinging to your brittle bones, but before long I will send you into glorious battle myself.. ahead of my lovely swarm of fresh Reavers.

May the walls of Tirith Rhaw, that you so treacherously wrenched from our grasp, come down on you. And if so, be glad that I did’nt get to you first.

Must be off now.. that dog of a Dwarf An has risen again…bahh!!
Move it maggots!! Time to die… again!

  3. Tanes Says:

My Minstrel Tanes (pronounced tah-nes) has reached level 75 and is now Master of the Scholar’s Guild. I have also got my Jeweller, Armourer and Tailor master with their respective crafting guilds too. :)

  4. Baranwen Says:

Baranwen of Nimrodel, member of Tinnu Uin Galadhrim, reached level 63 while achieving kindred with the people of the White Lady, admonishing tipsy elves with great fun.

  5. Feathil Says:

Feathil of Crickhollow reached 75 3 days ago and been a lazy minstrel only have 2 pieces of my new lvl 75 set and one piece with comparable stats from a tuck raid.

  6. Gilreth Says:

Will my elven minstrel Gilreth of Laurelin and her friend Droroin the dwarf champion made it to 71 on Tuesday and completed the Tracking on old Goat deed, but then hasn’t been on except to craft since (blame real life conspiring to mean either husband or I not available). My elven champion made it to 69 last night and actually found herself for a short while doing quests on level again.

  7. Thurinphir of Riddermark Says:

Minstrel on Crickhollow hit 43, 2 more levels for everything. (Barrow-Downs Survival, legendary trait slot, Volume 2!)
currently this dwarf is running around in Tal Bruinen enjoying the Trollshaws

  8. Malhirviel Says:

Malhirviel [mahl-HURR-vee-ell], level 61 minstrel of Arkenstone, Amistad Del Otro kinship, successfully logged on to RoI for the first time and started to get a handle on her new skills. She found that she is now a DPS master when running in Warspeech, so she skirmished in Bree and beat up a bunch of Sharkey’s men, before heading to Moria and taking on some major baddies from the Epic quest line. Why can’t those darn dwarves let well enough alone?!

  9. Aldarionn of Landroval Says:

Aldarionn from Landroval just reached lvl 26 with his champion along with his wife Ameldith. Still questing in the lone-lands and having a lot of fun. Our goals for today are to continue the epic storyline. We are in book 2 chapter 7. We love your show and we listen to it every week.

  10. Azakael Says:

    Hallo Hobbitses!
    Quick Summary of this week:
Alexahil, Champion of Nimrodel turned 69 this week and is slowly making his way through Enedwaith. He might actually hit Dunland sometime this year. He also helped a Captain Kinmate get his legendary out of Fil Ghashan. Face-tanking for the win! Guardians fill what role now? (Sorry, Merric!)

Elethahil (Eh – LEHTH – ah – hill), Champion of Landroval, level uh… eleven? I think… Well anyway he followed some crazy hobbit from the Forsaken Inn to Weathertop, for a good cause! Despite severe lag brought on by that many people doing stuff in one area (dial-up is a drag… yes there are still places in the southern LP that don’t have broadband) I didn’t get too far behind or eaten by wolves. Good times were had and good cause was there. Also, the floating one cent? You’re welcome Goldenstar!

I apologize if anything in my post comes across as mean-spirited. It’s not my intention! Sorry!

  11. Seedly Says:

    Merric and Goldenstar,

This week has been a huge week for me. I made level 75 on my Guardian main, finished off Kindred with the Riders of Rohan, and successfully led 5 Raid Skirms, resulting in a hefty stack of S4Ms and some really nice loot, including a new Worn Symbol for one of my Kinmates.

The most exciting change in Isenguard for me has been the changes to Raid size skirmishes. The loot is a great incentive that gets players to come along, and they keep the tempo pretty high making for fast and furious fights that keep things…interesting. With the sheer number of 20k and 40k mobs that come at you with 2-3 lieutenants at a time there is a sense of chaos and battle that is only comparable to what happens in the moors. I lost track of how many long time players I had tell me that it was the most fun they had in game outside of the moors in years.

So a hearty “Well Done” to Turbine for the changes to skirmishes!

I look forward to doing many more this weekend and earning my first piece of the new class armor and maybe a symbol of my own!

  12. Geldarion Says:

    Greetings!

My captain Ardaheru was the 8th person in Southern Cross on Vilya to reach level 75. He already has done six raid-sized skirmishes, won several teal items, seen two level 75 2nd Age symbols drop (didn’t win either), bartered for his gloves from the raid set, and obtained Kindred rep with Men of Dunland and Theodred’s Riders.

The biggest thing that happened was I decided to take my captain through Isengard before taking my hunter main! Can I even still be known as Geldarion now? What is the rule when changing mains and keeping names?

  13. Elleby Says:

Elleby Silverthorn, Minstrel and Officer of Guardians of the Flame on Nimrodel hit 75, and to celebrate immediatly switched over to her Level 6 self on Landroval to provide music before and after the Fellowship Walk from The Forsaken Inn to the peak of Weathertop.

  14. Frowljopan Says:

    Frowljopan hit 65

  15. Linhard of Brandywine Says:

Hello Goldenstar and Merric. This week I got to level 26 and got the Barrow-warrior’s armor, and I also got my reaver Asog to rank 1.
Love the show keep up the good work.

  16. Elisarion Says:

Elisarion Anvanyalindanar of Lothlórien is proud to unveil a newly composed epic ballad describing the tale of Company of Misfits heroic struggle to become the first kin of the Free People’s of Riddermark to vanquish the evil of Draigoch, defeating every challenge the beast could muster. All twelve of the heroes now possess powerful weapons forged from the worn remains of legends dating back to the 2nd Age, a sure sign of the great deeds completed by the small party, and Elisarion’s new shoulder guards have been tempered by the Dragon’s Fire. After three nights of a long, arduous struggle, the dragon is dead.

  17. kelly Says:

my hunter has finally gotten the elf ambassador horse and i am only 20,000 renown with the grey company from getting the world renown horse.

    Haukke (pronounced hawk) from brandywine.

  18. Helgas Says:

Helgas the Mighty Hunter (63 on Dwarrowdelf) did some Epic Quest from Angmar to Evendim to Trollshaws (and Enedwaith, don’t ask) where I took on the most fearsome Evil in all of Middle Earth. Then in Non-Epic Questing I got killed by 3 Dunlendings hanging out in a little camp. Strange. maybe we should just recruit 10 Dunlendings to fight Saruman, that should be enough! I think I’m suffering now from Post-Epic Death Disorder (PEDD).
