The Water-works are found south of and below the Silvertine Lodes and west of the Flaming Deeps. However, the quickest way to this region is found by jumping into the well in the Chamber of the Crossroads in Durin’s Way. Although this causes near-certain defeat, you will find yourself retreating to the nearby quest hub inside the Water-works. Several instances take place in the Water-works, though they can be entered through the Instance Join Panel much easier than making your way to their world-entrances.
The Water-works Quest Hubs
The Rotting Cellar (Rec 55-56): Dwarves have made camp near the Water-works (15.1 S, 111.9 W), examining the corruption of the nearby waterways. You can find quests, relic and forge-masters, vendors, and a Stable-master here. Be careful when dropping down to the main lower level in this area – the water will not protect you from damage or even defeat and the heights here are greater than they might appear at first.
