A Chicken at Orthanc

Leave it to LOTRO players to see the new landmark tower in the game as a goal for Chicken Play! We received some fun pictures from Halcomb of Brandywine showing his chicken in the new Rise of Isengard areas.

Hello Goldenstar and Merric this is Halcomb from Brandywine. I don’t know if anyone has made it to Orthanc as a chicken, at least I have not seen a pic yet but here is mine. A warg rider snuck up on me when i was trying to get close to the troll.

Indeed Halcomb is not alone as Dolnor of Gladden shared this photo in the Casual Stroll to Mordor group on Middle-earth Network! It seems that chickens in Middle-earth are quite adventurous!

I guess this beats me getting my captain to Isengard. Congrats to our foul brethren! One small step for a bird, one giant squawk for chicken-kind.

This fine show of Bird Power has raised my spirits a little! They’ve been low, as my parrot is rather sick lately. He’s not afraid trolls either!

Thanks to all those that shared this. *^_^*

What’s this? One does not simply cluck into Isengard!

Some members of The Lost Army on Silverlode took a chicken to Orthranc on launch day. Was pretty funny.

Tried it many times before but always got caught by those Lynxes on the High Moors.
