We received this email (oh my gosh nearly a month ago – I’m so behind!) from Lunna the Burg sharing her amazing “The Hobbit” themed nursery for her soon to arrive Baby Hobbit! Here is the email Lunna sent us followed by the amazing pictures!
I’m currently 8 months pregnant with my own baby hobbit (a boy) and when it came time to decorate the nursery my husband had the wonderful idea to use Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” as our theme.
I designed and painted a mural on the wall featuring Bilbo’s journey to The Lonely Mountain. There is the Shire in the foreground with the Misty Mountains and the Lonely Mountain rising behind them. Smaug the dragon circles the Lonely Mountain protecting his horde of gold.
All the prints on the walls are from a 1970′s calendar featuring Tolkien’s illustrations from The Hobbit plus a map of Middle Earth and a Map of Bilbo’s journey in The Hobbit.
I’ve attached pictures of the room. The quality of the photos isn’t great as my camera stinks and the room is small, so it’s hard to get the right perspective.

Truly amazing! I wish I will be able to do something at least half as beautiful as this when I’ll have my own little hobbits
I’m sure Lunna will be a great mother – you can clearly see all the love for her little hobbit in how she decorated the nursery!
