PAX Prime out in Seattle is in 4 days and Turbine is planning a party to celebrate with their fans!
They did something similar for PAX East this year and having attended that, I suggest you do not miss this gathering. It was a wonderful chance to speak with Turbine staff and other players! It will be for all players of Turbine games (not just LOTRO) but not to worry, DDO and AC players are just as friendly!

This is an invite party and you must be 21 to attend and must present your invitation and photo ID at the door. If you plan to be in Seattle Friday, August 26th, you should send in your RSVP now to secure your invite!
I am guessing they want the same information they requested of the PAX East attendees so here’s a copy and paste of the details you should send.
Send the following information to rsvp@turbine.com with the Subject: Turbine PAX Party:
- Your real name
- Age
- Your Community (Forum) name
- Game and Server
- Email address (Your invitation will be sent to this address!)
For PAX East we were only able to request an invitation for myself (like I couldn’t request for Merric and myself together) so make sure your buddies coming to PAX know and put in their request as well!
CSTM’s Alphaman will be at PAX Prime this year and will hopefully be attending this party!

I went a couple years ago, it was fun but so noisy! The Gamestop music was just too much! I was hoping to go again this year with the hope that they moved it somewhere you can have a conversation with your neighbor in and hear when they gave out the prizes.

This is a separate private party, not held at the conference but a secondary venue (most likely a place that serves alcohol given the 21+ requirement). At PAX East we had a private party room with pool tables and such. It was very nice.

Nope. They did say you could pick one up from their booth Friday… but no reply yet.

Need a pass to get in and they are sold out, they don’t sell the passes at the door.

Maybe you’re only supposed to know the time and place if you’ve been added to the guest list, but there’s no information that I can find as to where and when the party is.

You have to RSVP to the email address in the post and they will send you the information. The party is invite only. You must have an invitation to get in.

Just got home from the Turbine party. Had a blast and got some free stuff. Thanks for the info on the invite.
