Our friend Justin “Syp” Olivetti has a new article out reviewing the two 3-man instances coming in Update 3, Halls of Night and Inn of the Forsaken. It’s a really good read and you’ll want to take a moment and give it a gander so you know what to expect. As an added bonus he went through the instance with Aaron “Rowan” Campbell and Joe “jwbarry” Barry, so he’s got some insights to the instances that you might not have been aware of. One particular point of insight is that the release date for Update 3 is scheduled for May 23rd and North America, and European players will be able to experience the update sometime after the migration to Turbine’s servers start on June 1st.
…Part of that effort is directed at Update 3, which is currently scheduled to go live on May 23rd in North America and after June 1st for Europe when the LotRO Global Service takes effect and all of the accounts are moved under Turbine’s purview.

About that global thing, this means that Turbine gets full control and Codemasters will be gone or are they just going to work like 1 company?

Codemasters will be gone. Turbine will control both NA and EU services.

The dream mechanic is actually a good idea. I’d really love if they used it to stick in things we’re never otherwise going to get… Like it’d be fun if we could ride an eagle in a dream, etc.
