Turbine has announced the winner of the Design-A-Horse contest announced last month. Actually I should say winners as this steed was designed by a mother/daughter team. The winner is GoldRushSE’s “Golden Fringe” horse design! Congratulations!
This pale beauty will be given away to folks who visit the Turbine booth at this year’s PAX East convention. GoldeRushSE wins a copy of her horse design for her winning submission as well.
There is no mention so far how this will be available in game for those unable to make it to PAX. It may appear in this year’s Spring Festival similar to last year’s contest and you can probably count on it appearing in the store as well. We’ll keep you updated as we hear more!

Only the side view was requested for the contest. Turbine will adjust and complete the design based on this concept art.

I like it! That blanket has a nice, warm feeling to it. Even if it does kind of remind me of sweaters that people put on small, yippy dogs.

I have a feeling the CSTM team will be doing what we can to get extra codes for this horse from PAX. Although, I can’t imagine it not at least being available in the store at some point. Why would Turbine pass up an opportunity to make money off a pretty new horse design like this?

Nice horse, very pretty. I like the warm tones of the blanket. It looks rather eastern in theme.
I hope it’s available in game somewhere.

lotro horses are getting kinda meh new colored blanket or no blanket they need to add armoured barding or something
