Photo Comparison: Questing Across Middle-Earth

Adventuring. Questing. Exploring.  These are an integral part of any adventurer’s life.  Traveling across the land opens you up to an array of wonders and dangers.  But it isn’t all pretty landscapes and amazing animals.

Banners

They are designed to tell you something; to indicate what lies ahead.  Sometimes they are a warning; sometimes they are a beacon of hope.  One thing is for certain – you find them in camps all about and they can be either a blessing or a curse when you stumble across one.

Making Camp

Canvas walls may be not be as sturdy as the walls of a hobbit hole, but they do offer protection from the elements.  Rain, snow, even a simple gust of wind are blocked by a sturdy tent.

Cooking with Fire

Without a proper campfire, options for that next meal are somewhat limited.  Jerky and other dried foods can be a wonderful snack as you stroll down the path, but as every hobbit knows, sometimes you just want a little roast mutton.

Discovering Treasure

It’s always a wonderful thing to stumble across a chest of treasure.  They can be stuffed with coin, weapons, armor, even food on occasion.  It’s hard to pass up looting one when you stumble across one in an enemy camp.

Sorry for the super long delay in posts! I’ve had a few things come up in real life but I’m working hard to get back on the once a week track!
