In this episode we take a look at the FilterBag plugin by Betsiel. This plugin combines all your Inventory bags into one grid; no matter how many inventory bags you might have purchased. So premium and free players can utilize this plugin without compatibility issues. Also, the plugin includes a “Sort” button that will alphabetically sort your inventory items alphabetically. But, the main reason I really like this plugin is that it includes a filter bar similar to those within the Vault, Storage, and Wardrobe UI’s that allows a player to type in a word or a partial word, click “Search” and it will then darken every inventory item that does not fit within the filter! Talk about a time saver! Since I’ve been trying to keep track of consumables more and more, this plugin is going to be a must have for me. I highly recommend it!

I wish there was a program for 2 bags. One combining bags 4 & 5 and another combining 1, 2 & 3. I leave bags 4 & 5 open all the time because they hold my pots, food and various tools I need while fighting (marbles, fire oils, etc) and the “One Bag” just is too bulky and difficult, I don’t care for it but I would consider one big bag for the junk I collect and another bag for those things I use so they do not get a jumbled together.

Definitely. Arkinventory for WoW is something I’d like to see copied eventually, and this plugin really seems to be heading in that direction. Hopefully as Turbine opens up the UI it will evolve.

I love the idea of tabbed bags – keep all your pots in one, ore in another, etc.
